My encounters with Debbie - Front Desk is always a joy - her professionalism, dedication and always advising - when I thought perhaps I could not afford the work that was required at that time - of the options that were available to me. Your establishment is only "as good as the people you employee" - and obviously with committed individuals that you continue to employ - your reputation for service is, in my opinion, outstanding. I absolutely love my 2003 Corolla LE and with over 203,000 km's I will continue to travel down the road. More

My car was starting to have issue and wanted to have it looked at by a technician and the soonest appointment they had was 10 days later! Before I was able to take my car to Whitby the issue seemed to be g looked at by a technician and the soonest appointment they had was 10 days later! Before I was able to take my car to Whitby the issue seemed to be getting worse called another toyota dealership and could of had it inspected THAT day if i wasnt so busy at work. I understand sometime schedules can back up so i didnt hold it against them and figured i'd give them another shot at a later time My next experience was having a battery replaced. Booked an appointment (thankfully this time only 3 days in advance) and brought my car in. When I asked how long it would take to complete the job I was told 45 minutes so i decided to wait instead of taking a shuttle home. Over a hour and a half later the job was still not done and after inquiring about the status was told "they got busy and it should be done shortly". Once completed I checked everything out and found a couple issues with the job. First the automatic window operation was not working. After telling them the issue a mechanic came out and fixed it in 30 second (the system needed to be reset which is apparently part of their battery replacement procedure). This could have been more of a headach if i had driven off the lot. The second issue was they broke my plastic trunk liner. Once i pointed it out to them I was told "bring it back and we will fix it". They did end up "fixing" it (fixing in quoates as it is a sloppy job imo) but i had to call them a week after dropping it off to check if it was ready. I would rather drive 45 minutes to another toyota dealership then deal with Whitby Toyota again. More
I live in Newcastle and I drive to Whitby Toyota to have my vehicle serviced. The staff is very friendly and I am always treated with great respect there. This dealership doesn't even deserve the one star but I guess I couldn't do half. I took my car that had died on me while i was driving it. They called and told me it is my starter and it's going be 500 I guess I couldn't do half. I took my car that had died on me while i was driving it. They called and told me it is my starter and it's going be 500+ to get it fixed I told him that's not the problem he called back and said its the circuit a day later they call and said its my daylight running light was causing the problem so they had to disconnect it. 24 hrs later and $300+ to figure that out not to mention that they left the car with no daytime running light so now I am at risk of being ticketed. After all of that the car is still giving problems a man who doesn't even have a shop came to my house and in 3 hours diagnosed and fixed my car for $150. When I complained about the whole thing to John he offered me a free oil change, I'm not looking for freebies I want quality for my money, Toyota whitby is a disgrace to Toyota I wouldn't even let them wash my car. I have had my two Toyota's serviced here and 3/4 of the time the service was done incorrectly. After an oil change, I had to return since the vehicle was leaking oil in my driveway. Brake change cost double and took 3 hours, when they quoted 1.5. Right turn signal causes headlights to shut off. Took 2 hours and over $100, sent my wife home without telling her that they problem was not fixed. I called and got ten thousand excuses, and then told me the part is over $500 dollars and they couldn't explain it to her (since she was a lady and wouldn't understand). Tire pressure warning light keeps coming on even though the tires are properly inflated, they keep saying the tire needed air. More
