My experience comes from dealing with art in the service department. On a visit I had there for a problem I had I discussed what issues I was having with my car and the hard starting I was having. Instead of the problem diagnosed correctly was sold a battery which was not needed. The issue was with the ignition coil which I had to diagnose and fixed the issue. Why does art go or present himself as a service manager when people in the dealership tell me he's no manager? More
First time servicing at Toyota My RAV is my first sole-ownership vehicle and my baby. When it came time for an oil change the only place to go was to a Toyota service centre, and Whitby Toyota was the logical choice. Mikeala was at the service counter and she made me feel welcome and comfortable. She listened to me explain what I wanted looked at, and even enlisted the help of a nearby technician who nicely explained to me that one thing that I thought was a problem is actually a safety feature (who knew?). There were no issues with me bringing my RAV in the night before the scheduled appointment, either! At pick up I had the same pleasant customer service from Mikeala as the night before, and I was impressed that the cost was less than I had anticipated. They even brought my RAV up to the front for me (past experiences with other car makers had me going out to the lot to find my car wherever they had put it!). There is no doubt as to where my RAV will go for future servicing: to Whitby Toyota! Thank you! More

Our wait time was acceptable and the waiting area was comfortable.The dealer also washed our vehicles as part of the service,all in all a nice experience. More

oil change on a cold day I took my Rav in for an oil change and I was told due to the extremely cold weather the usual car wash was not happening. I begged my service rep as w I took my Rav in for an oil change and I was told due to the extremely cold weather the usual car wash was not happening. I begged my service rep as we had just returned from a long car trip and the vehicle was covered in salt and sand. When my servicing was done, my Rav appeared clean and shining. The service rep had come through for me. She is always helpful and friendly but this was really going that extra mile and I appreciate it. Thanks More
Surprised I have used the Whitby Toyota Service Department since approx. 1997. On the whole the service has been Good, but on the two occasions I have brought, I have used the Whitby Toyota Service Department since approx. 1997. On the whole the service has been Good, but on the two occasions I have brought, what I considered valid concerns with respects to the repairs provided, there was great reluctance to remedy the problems, even after appealing to the Manager. On the second occasion, I was told to take my car elsewhere if I am not happy with the service. Quite surprising, as it is not the comment one would expect from a major dealer, to a Customer who have used the Department over a number of years. More
