I visited Whitby Toyota with my defenses up and not really having any "expectations", I had the opportunity to have Gary Brown as my Sales Associate. I must say that I was treated fairly and enjoyed the experience. Gary sells a lot of cars a month and I only buy 1 in 10 years but, Gary was able to communicate with me and reduce the anxiety that my family and I had. In today's economic world it is important to make rational decisions, Gary was polite and was looking to ensure that I was buying a car that I needed not the car that I wanted. I was able to stay well within budget and find a new car for just for us. I would totally visit Whitby Toyota again and would seek out Gary to help me with my next purchase- hopefully a big truck! We wanted to purchase a 2013 Rav4 because we really wanted a backup camera and they were not available in earlier models. We ended up purchasing one (the last one in Ontario) and were waiting for it to arrive from another dealer. The day it was to arrive, we received a call that the car had some body damage that had not been seen when we purchased. Our dealer ended up getting us the very same Rav4 in a 2014 model for less than a thousand dollars more. I would recommend Whitby Toyota to anyone wanting to purchase a car or anyone wanting to service a car of any make or model! More

Gary Brown Gary knew I was looking at the 2013/14 Avalon for at least three months, but he never attempted to pressure me or push the sale in any way. I think we both agreed that the car sold itself, and as a consequence all he had to do was wait for the right moment. When I eventually decided to go ahead (or rather, my wife did...) Gary proved himself to be a true professional, dealing with the details of the purchase and also with my more unusual suggestions which arose from an admitted ignorance of modern technology. Bearing in mind my far too numerous visits to the dealership his tolerance was exemplary, and his cheerful friendliness never flagged. Being a customer of Whitby Toyota for nearly twenty years, it is easy to build up a rapport with the service staff, but visits to the sales side tend to be few and far between. From my experience of this sale, I consider that Whitby Toyota is fortunate in having Gary Brown on their staff and trust that their association will be of long standing. More
