Gary Brown Gary knew I was looking at the 2013/14 Avalon for at least three months, but he never attempted to pressure me or push the sale in any way. I think we both agreed that the car sold itself, and as a consequence all he had to do was wait for the right moment. When I eventually decided to go ahead (or rather, my wife did...) Gary proved himself to be a true professional, dealing with the details of the purchase and also with my more unusual suggestions which arose from an admitted ignorance of modern technology. Bearing in mind my far too numerous visits to the dealership his tolerance was exemplary, and his cheerful friendliness never flagged. Being a customer of Whitby Toyota for nearly twenty years, it is easy to build up a rapport with the service staff, but visits to the sales side tend to be few and far between. From my experience of this sale, I consider that Whitby Toyota is fortunate in having Gary Brown on their staff and trust that their association will be of long standing. More

Experience in purchasing a new Toyota Rav4 at Whitby Toyota I could not have had a better experience. I came prepared for a minor battle with the pricing in particular and the trade in of my Honda Civic and ter I could not have had a better experience. I came prepared for a minor battle with the pricing in particular and the trade in of my Honda Civic and terms of purchase (sale / lease) in general. I was completely disarmed since Gary was honest, forthright and a lot more prepared than I was. He exuded confidence in his product and he was believable. Moreover, he started off by letting me know the deal that was available to me as an OPG pensioner and by showing me the pricing which I thought I would have had to fight to obtain. Nothing could have prepared me for this warm welcome. Gary is a shining light for Toyota and he is in fact a beacon that should be held high for all other employees to see, He stands head and shoulders above the competition and as my wife observed, we had been to the competition the week before and certainly got a courteous reception there but that is where the comparison stopped. Second visit was to sign paperwork and met with Keith who explained the leasing process very well. I picked up my Toyota Matrix last evening and Lance explained all features at length he did not rush through it. All in all I am extremely happy with my decision to go back to Whitby Toyota as my first few cars were Toyota's I then switch to General Motors for awhile, but now I am glad to be back.
