Terrible PDI, New Jayco Seneca 37TS failed from the start We bought a new 2016 Jayco Seneca 37TS from their Airdrie location presuming that the unit would be operational and in perfect condition, as it was ne We bought a new 2016 Jayco Seneca 37TS from their Airdrie location presuming that the unit would be operational and in perfect condition, as it was new. Traveland RV didn't do any or an adequate PDI, the unit failed completely after only 11 nights use. Traveland RV in Kelowna told us that "no matter what you find wrong, we'll fix it in Kelowna". That was a sales ploy, the unit has been out of commission since last August when we had to return it. They dumped it back on us in December as the snow flew. It took them 4 months to do nessecary repairs but they're still not finished. (This was a brand new Super C motorhome). Now we're about to go to court. The dealership in Calgary and Kelowna have made no reparations for loss of use, lost value for depreciation, insurances paid, thousands of dollars in useless warranties, distance that they put in the unit driving it to far away repair facilities to save themselves money. They've driven our unit to Langley, BC to do some paint, damaged flooring, and slide repairs, some of which were done poorly and now at the beginning of a second season, they want to take it back to Langley again. They. We'd to redo repairs that were done last fall. In less than 30 days we found and documented 79 issues, most of which were PDI issues caused by or ignored by Traveland RV. We still have repairs outstanding, and we can't load or use the unit as it'll be back in the shop in May. Traveland RV sold our trade in motorhome of course. We demanded a full refund when the unit failed after only 200 miles of travel. We were compelled to take the unit back in Fecember as clearly they intended to do nothing for us, but leave the unit in their lot for the winter. We started off reasonable, but management at Traveland RV doesn't care if we can't use it. It's been since last summer (2016$ and not a dime of compensation for their shoddy "new" Jayco Seneca 37TS. We're out $280,000.00 and got only 11 nights use before it completely failed. Batteries not charging, floor damage from the slides (all of them), hot water system inoperable, fridge wouldn't work (lo dc). The service department in Kelowna has communicated with but we've been screwed right over by Traveland RV management with zero help (ZERO) from Jayco. Don't do business with these people. More
