I have waited for a few months to write this review. I purchased a 2022 outlander GT premium back in March of 2022 right off the showroom floor. It was a beautiful vehicle. Lots of options. I was told to add the Mitsubishi app to my phone to be used to lock and unlock the car and also to use as a car starter. Within 6 months I started to have electrical issues. I would be driving and all of a sudden multiple warning lights would start to flash. I took the car in to have it checked out. The correction was to reset all the modules. This occurred 3 times from July to September 2022. I removed the app from my phone in December as it would not work properly. Never started the car. I inquired about this and was told the 2022 app had multiple issues. In January 2023, I had a starter installed but not by the dealer. In September 2023 I started having the same issues again with the warning lights coming on. I was told this was happening because of the remote starter. Not sure what that had to do with anything as this was the same issue I was having all through 2022. Two days later I had to have the car towed into the dealer as it wouldn't start. As I was repeatedly told it was the starters fault, I had it removed. Eight days later I had to go in again with the warning lights and this time the car wouldn't turn off. Modules were reset again. In May 2024, back with the same issue. I was told the battery was defective and needed to be replaced. As the vehicle was over 2 years old, I had to pay 50% of the cost for the battery. Back again early June with the same old problem. I called the Mitsubishi Canada Corporate office to see what could be done. (I was told by the dealer to call them). I explained the situation and was told they would call me back. I received a call back the same day and was told I would have to deal with the dealer on this issue. This time they changed a couple of modules and because they blamed me for the starter, it cost over $1300 to repair. (I was told my warranty was void). In September 2024, I was back at the dealer again with the same problem. The fix was to reset the modules and send me on my way. Less than 24 hours later I was back again with the same issue. This time I received a call from the Service manager to come and see him. I was told at that meeting that the car could not be fixed and I would have to see the General manager to come up with a solution. I was also told then that the starter I had installed in the car had nothing to do with the issues with the car. My wife and I met with the GM the following day. We were told we had 2 options. 1. I could have a 2022 outlander BASE MODEL with more kms. on it than what was on my car or 2. I could have a new 2024 Eclipse Cross BASE MODEL. Both of these vehicles were over $22K cheaper than my vehicle. We were told that we would only get credit for what a 2 year old Outlander was worth. We couldn't believe what we were being told! My wife asked where the corporate office in Canada was located and was told " I don't know...google it". I again called the corporate office and was told I would get a call back.....That was over 3 months ago. I haven't heard from anyone. As we needed a car, we took the Eclipse cross but all I wanted was for my car to be fixed. When asked what was to become of my outlander, I was told it would be sent to auction. I am so disappointed with the unprofessional treatment we were given over the past 2+ years by this dealership. In hindsight, if I had read the reviews for the West Side Mitsubishi dealership before I went in looking for a vehicle, I would have run the other way...They should all be ashamed of the way they treat customers. My advice to anyone looking for a Mitsubishi is to go to any other dealership you can find. Stay away from West Side Mitsubishi!!! More
