I visited West Edmonton Hyundai just to see what they had available. I was not really planning to buy a new car that day. However, I am a proud owner of a beautiful, brand-new 2013 Elantra today because of the truly outstanding and extremely professional and honest customer service I received from both Mr. Alan Sugiyama who is a very knowledgeable, kind, and caring Sales and Leasing Specialist who took all the time I needed to explain every little detail about the model that captured my attention and process my sales with great honesty and also the Finance Manager, Mr. Vance Yue who explained and processed all the financial side of my purchase with the same type of amazingly honest, sincere, and genuine professionalism. In addition to my new Elantra that I really love, I have two new great friends today. Thank you Alan and thank you Vance! I am grateful to you both for all your help, patience, and kindness during my purchase and for offering me your continued personal support whenever I have questions or concerns about my new car. I spent a couple of hours at West Edmonton Hyundai and from the moment I walked into this dealership until I drove my new car away, each one of the other staff members such as Ms. Melanie Shatford-Blank, Sales Manager, and Mr. Keith Ross, Sales & Leasing Specialist, smiled and greeted me as well with generous kindness. My observation during that time was that everyone was treating his or her customers and others with the same type of respect, honesty, and kindness that I received from Vance and Alan. My heartfelt congratulations to the West Edmonton Hyundai management and all the staff members for creating such a friendly, honest, and a one of a kind, beautiful place for car shoppers. This was my first Hyundai ever but you will see me many years to come at your location whenever I need a service or a new car. We bought a brand new Santa Fe at this dealership where we were promised to be treated 'like family'. The day we went to pick it up our saleslady informed us that the GPS system didn't work and that they d we were promised to be treated 'like family'. The day we went to pick it up our saleslady informed us that the GPS system didn't work and that they didn't have our winter tires ready to go so we would have to bring it back the next day to get it all looked at. FIRST PROBLEM: why wasn't this checked prior to pick up? I brought the vehicle back and it needed an all new centre console. SECOND PROBLEM: after getting the vehicle back, the rear view camera wouldn't work. Brought the vehicle back, yet again. Found out it needed a whole new camera installed. We left the vehicle there for them to inspect and every time we called to get information on how it was going they just asked us when we were bringing the vehicle in, when it had been there for a few days already. THIRD PROBLEM: 3M shield started peeling off, front grill paint was chipping already. Had to have that replaced. Then, we found out FOURTH PROBLEM: the centre headrest in the back was broken and didn't stay up. So off we went yet again to get that fixed. Waited a month for them to call and tell us the part was in, finally I called and it was in. Brought the vehicle in, it took THREE days to fix the headrest piece because the part wasn't actually in. Thought everything was good, then the window stopped working and FIFTH PROBLEM: the vehicle needs a new part for the window. Long story short, the service we got has been terrible and we bought a new vehicle that is now a re-built vehicle. Throughout this process we have been dealing with someone from public relations named Tom Peters. He kept promising us he would look in to things and that he has a small client base so we won't get forgotten about. Then when we didn't hear from him for months and called to find out what was going on he made excuses about how many people he deals with and basically made us feel like we didn't matter. Last straw was today when he made promises to us a few weeks ago to get us in tough with someone from Hyundai Canada and didn't. When I emailed him to find out what was going on he replied back that he forgot completely what we last talked about. The only thing it seems he can do is quote their "90% satisfaction rate". -- By the way last time I was there I had three other customers tell me all about how they had never gotten good service here. I could go on, but the main story here is that this dealership is AWFUL. Once they get your money they don't care about anything any more. I have never ever felt so disrespected as a customer, and I hate to leave bad reviews of places but this one deserves every word of it. More

My wife and I bought a new car in the month of September 2012. Richard was the salesman and he dealt with us in a fair, polite and respectful manner to ensure we were getting the right car for our needs. 2012. Richard is a hard worker and he and his manager Aaron worked very well together to accommodate our sale in a very satisfactory manner. We were then involved with Diane in the finance department who made it very easy to set up our payment plan in a very efficient manner (not to mention her great sense of humor!). We then brought our son in to see Richard and he also bought a new car. Again, our dealings were handled in a very pleasant and professional manner and we made another good purchase. Overall our car buying experience was less difficult than we anticipated because of the great service we received. We would have no hesitation in sending any of our family and friends to West Edmontn Hyundai and would recommend they seek Richard's assistance. More

I had the pleasure of dealing with Richard Lam when I purchased my 2013 Tucson. I found Richard to be great, he knew everything about the vehicle, every question I asked he knew the answer right away, he purchased my 2013 Tucson. He has an extensive knowledge. At no time did I feel pressured. I will def recommend him or the dealership to friends should they look to purchase a vehicle. Not only did we work out accessories I wanted with the car, they give me good prices on it, on top of that they will take my husband's car in for life time free oil changes as well.
