He showed me different cars and let me go without the push to make a decision the same day like other dealers i have dealt with. Your financing method and terms are printed and given to you to see and you are left to consider your options. In all it was a good experience especially with Alan and Nora in the financing process. In the past 8 months my vehicle has been in for 2 services. One to replace a leaky timing belt cover and one to swap out winter tires. In the first one they did not reattach the fuel line properly which resulted in almost setting fire to my vehicle, response was sorry here's 50.00 for gas. Second service (for tire swap) took 2 hours to do and then when I arrived home (10 min drive) they had forgotten to tighten all for sets of lug nuts...They ALL came off in my hand!! I did not bother to follow up with them on that issue as I'm fed up with apologies and excuses. I will now take my Santa Fe to Northstar Hyundai. It's a further drive but at least I should be safe. Oh, one more thing ...if your service dept opens at 0730 you should take the phones off auto answer and answer the xxxx thing as I needed a tire repair this a.m. and went to KAl tire instead but when you cheap out on servicing I guess you can afford to lose a customer. It was an inexpensive vehicle with the idea that it wasn't a forever car - I just wanted something safe and reliable for my kids. As you can imagine, the market is littered with used cars in the lower price range, but what helped close the deal, at that price, was the information that the car came with a second set of tires, presumably the winter tires that were on it. That was important because of the added safety the winter tires represented and also because it provided an immediate potential saving to me because I did not have to go out and buy another set. I bought the car in February 2016 and picked it up a few days later with the other set of tires wrapped in bags in the trunk. I did not open the bags until I went into my local tire shop in April to change over the winters to the all-seasons. When the bags were opened, the response from the Tire Tech was (1) these tires are mismatched/not all the same size, (2) these are so worn, I wouldn't ever put them on a vehicle, and (3) it looks like someone pulled these off a scrap heap. That was not what I was expecting to hear. After going back to WEH with my concern, my experience was nothing short of horrible. WEH had absolutely no interest in either my or my kid's concerns and showed absolutely no acknowledgement of perhaps falling just a tad short on the deal we had struck. At a time when they could have won a customer over with responsive and attentive service, and probably a few hundred dollars, they instead did the opposite. Their list of excuses, and I quote, included: "that's not normally the kind of car we sell", "after paying two sales people, we make very little on the sale", "my manager must have been having a bad day", and one of the better ones, "I completely disagree with you". Based on my experience, purchasing a vehicle from this dealer comes with no assurances that you will be taken care of if you run into a problem - they are solely interested in your $ ..... odd strategy when there is so much competition for our business. As fo So after a while to think about things, and not being so pissed off anymore, I came to realize that this dealership is actually really good . As for the Hyundai brand never again!! I ended up trading it in for a loss. Hyundai themselves never really helped out or stood behind a car they sold that definitely snuck through their quality control. The dealership did do all they could. Before I realized the car was a bit of a lemon, I was really happy with my experience . So if it's a Hyundai you want, I do truly believe these guys and gals are the best!!!! Yet another update..... Got the car back. 3rd time in service dept for water leak in trunk. STILL LEAKING!!! Wow this is ridiculous......just tired of this crap. With a 2 year old son, I got other things I could be doing. Brand new car, all these problems, and no help from West Edmonton Hyundai for selling a brand new piece of crap, besides warranty work. Another update: First off, if you ever consider a Hyundai, consider another dealer!!! They are probably ok, if everything is going great, but when things are not, you find out ones true nature. Just a word of advice! Well they have had the car for about a month this time.I have had a few updates from the dealer, but nothing in at least 10 days. The sales man asked me to come in... "We want to make things right." So another trip to the dealer. Now you think he would of had options to lay out, not. So we make some up..... He'll get back to me.....well sorry nothing we can do. Waste of my time! Well let's see..... At least 10+ trips to and from the dealer....babysitter fees, at least a month and a half without the car, a lot of wasted hours, and a car, that even when I get back, do I even want. For why the leaks and bad body alignment issues, was it damaged in transport? For a brand new car from ordered in from factory, why did it have 24kms on it. The dealer has given me a courtesy car. So thanks for reading. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. A new car is a BIG purchase, and just don't want anyone to go through this. UPDATE....... They had my car for almost 2 weeks. I have the car back and the trunk is still filling with water. I have a 2 year old son and worried for mold. I brought this up as a concern, and I can't really say how long the car has been leaking. The dealers response was it didn't smell moldy. Interior was not removed and checked.hmmm! The dealer is going to try again to fix, and they seem to be ok about trying getting the leak fixed. I seem to be more concerned about the possible mold then them. I am going to get a YouTube vid together with pictures of the water, the bad alignment of the panels before and after.( so you can judge for yourself, and to keep in mind when buying a new vehicle) After alignment, the gaps on the trunk are the biggest on any car I've ever seen....... But hey, at least it even on both sides.(I'll put a link if allowed) WEST EDMONTON HYUNDAI..........NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! Buying a new car is supposed to be a great fun time............ If you sell a subpar item, own up to it.... Bought a Hyundai Elantra (2016) in Jan 2016. Sales was good, and got a fair price. Later noticed ( when warmer out) that the rear door and trunk were not lined up very good. (Looked like was in a accident and not repaired good). Took into dealer, they had the car for 4 days. They sent it out to auto body shop. The service dept was terrible for keeping me updated, and I was without a vehicle for 4 days. And I got the car back, and now when it rains my trunk gets filled with water. I have to wait 2 weeks to get a loner car..... And to get car fixed. I can't believe a brand-new car has such bad alignment on it's panels . More

My experience at this dealership was awesome! I’m very happy with me new Genesis 5.0 and loving the drive every day. For people looking to buy a new car my advice to them is to shop around and before you put the pen to paper make a visit to the West Edmonton Hyundai Showroom. People visiting should speak with Alireza the sales manager and he will take care of everything else. My experience with both the managers Ali and Ocean was great and I would definitely recommend my family and friends to visit them before signing a deal. No BS, best price and an amazing experience! The support from the team at West Edmonton Hyundai didn’t just stop after the sale was done – it continued through till the finance office, where Nora did her magic and sweetened the deal with some additional add-ons with a marginal increase in price. In all, saving the best for the last – what an amazing experience I had with the sales rep Alan. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and trust worthy! One of the best things I liked was the fact if he didn’t know an answer to my question he would go and find the right person to get me the correct answer – something I found very hard to find in my car shopping experience. As for the Items in the deal I got - Car - 3M Package (They upgraded me to a different product SUN-Tech which was even better) - Under coating + Rust Protection - Paint Protection - Leather Protection - 2 way remote Hyundai car starter - Maximum additional warranty (8 years – 160K) The only thing I have been missing since I got this car is All weather mats. I would recommend getting the custom fitting all weather mats as generic ones REALLY DON’T work (yes I bought some and they didn’t work – money wasted.) To close - Thank You Alan. Thank You, West Edmonton Hyundai for making my dream come true! More

Friendly and knowledgable After going to a few dealerships prior to coming to west end Hyundai it was nice to not have to give up my first born to just get a price quoted to me After going to a few dealerships prior to coming to west end Hyundai it was nice to not have to give up my first born to just get a price quoted to me. I mean cmon do I really have to commit with my credit card and licence just to get an idea of the price. They deal with the customer in a fair no-pressure way that doesn't make you feel like you just "dropped the soap". In fact dealing with Rodney in sales who has experience in both sales and the service department makes you more confident that he actually understands the product and cares about his job. The staff occupied my two daughters letting us focus on what we were doing. Also negotiating with Ocean and Ali made the experience more enjoyable with their relaxed and humorous nature. They are the kind of sales staff that make you feel welcome. Thanks. Hopefully the next dealings we have with any service or warranty concerns go as smooth. More

After trying more than a half dozen dealerships and being hustled by most of them, I arrived at West Edmonton Hyundai and was greeted by a very honest and customer oriented sales person who guided me through the process and helped me to purchase a great vehicle at what I believe to be a fair price.
