I'd like to start off by saying i'm a Chevy guy through and through, always have been and always will be. With that in mind, the fact that i left this dealership with a used Dodge Journey goes to s through and through, always have been and always will be. With that in mind, the fact that i left this dealership with a used Dodge Journey goes to show you how great a salesman Dave McLennan really is. I had been looking for a second vehicle for about 3 weeks and i had my heart set on a Chevy, whether it be an Equinox or a Traverse but i just couldnt find the right one. My wife and i were expecting our second child any day when we first met Dave and right from the get go we knew he was truly an honest salesman who had our best interests in mind. Both Dave and myself knew a minivan was the most practical and logical choice for my family and he had some really great vehicles on the lot for my wife and i to see. Only one problem, there was no way i'd let myself be seen driving a minivan, i'm only 27 years old! I told Dave i would keep looking until i found the right vehicle but that if he found anything for us to give me a call. A few days passed and my wife gave birth to our second beautiful son. Shortly after that i recieved a call from Dave saying he had just got a Dodge Journey in that day and we should bring the family out to see it. Anyway, long story short we test drove the vehicle, loved it and bought it before it even made it onto the website. Working with Dave was a great experience all around. I'm a commuter to Toronto and my vehicle is critical for my job. my way to Toronto Monday morning Michael Bishop called me at 7:15 asking how he could help. I explained my situation and Michael would look into it. Michael called me back and explained the starter was gone however my vehicle would be ready by lunch. Derek was, by far, the most professional and courteous sales person we have dealt with. He was kind and inviting immediately upon meeting us. Derek was attentive and actually listened to what our needs/desires were in a vehicle and found the exact vehicle we were looking for without trying to force us into bigger and unnecessary upgrades. He gave us great pricing and there were no hidden last minute costs at time of delivery. I also really appreciate the fact that Derek involved my wife in the process and was sure to answer all her questions as previous sales people have ignored my wife and only spoke to me, leaving my wife feeling frustrated. Derek's customer service skills were unmatched by any previous experiences and we have already recommended his services to friends and family! Being that I only buy Dodge, I will be coming back to deal with Derek at Wendell Motors in the future for sure! More

Dave was friendly and was the most interested of all of the salespeople we had met in our quest for a vehicle. He answered most of our questions fully. If there was anything that we could say needed improvement in customer service it is that we felt pressured into making this review. We have had the vehicle only 5 days and Dave has phoned twice to remind us to complete it. It took much longer than "a minute" to complete, as after selecting things like "Brand Purchased", it would tell me it was a required field and I would have to go back Repeatedly to complete fields already completed. Every time I "fix" the "errors" that the program tells me I have made, another field which had been correctly filled in is now blank and becomes an "error". I am not impressed with the review process. More

Cynthia (unknown to us previously), had contacted us early on--in summer--to attend a dealership promotion. (We couldn't make it.) She outbid the competition and was REALLY non-resistant to deal with throughout the entire process. She handled any concerns we had about certain things with ease and complete flexibility. She walked us through anything and everything and made sure we didn't have to endure any new-car hassles that one can sometimes go through with some dealerships. We heartily recommend Cynthia and Wendell's management team to anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle. They made this new purchase one of the most pleasant experiences in recent memory.
