Air Condition not working, can't get an appointment until July 23rd. Vehicle will be useless to use without air condition. Always an issue in trying to get appointment for vehicle at this dealership. I took it elsewhere for another opinion and the mechanic there showed me that what was ‘leaking’ was minor, and a very common occurrence. It was not necessary to fix it at this point and he told me when it would be necessary to fix it. His quote was 1/2 of what Volvo was charging. This mechanic also went through the vehicle and the first thing he said was what excellent condition it was in. Not a single leak. More

The vehicle was in excellent shape with minor wear and tear as expected. I spent a week negotiating a fair price. Thought we had settle on a price with Rick. Rick was always prompt and courteous with his responses and I made my final offer pending the sales managers approval. I contacted the sales manager the day after when I had not heard back from them. Jordy the sales manager then informed me that they wanted me to pay for the repairs the Volvo had done to the RAV4. I was surprised that they would ask the next buyer to pay for damage the previous owner had done. I also know they used this against the previous owner to de-value the trade in allowance. This bumped my offered price up an additional $800.00 over the price I thought we had settled on. Jordy wouldn't budge on the price. After waiting a few more days to see if they would change their mind, I receive a call from another dealer. LA Mazda who had offered me a model year newer RAV4 V6 with similar mileage and for $2000.00 less and it included all the taxes. 2 Months after purchasing my RAV4 from LA Mazda, the other RAV4 was still on Volvo of Edmonton's lot. More
