I was notified that my car needed a $2000 pad and rotor brake job at the end of the day having gone in for maintenance and seasonal tire change. The car was in the shop since 10. When I reviewed my last three service records I saw: current brake pads and rotors at 2mm with an odometer reading of 116000 while less than a year ago (December 2020) the reading was 6mm in front and greater than 6mm in rear and the odometer read 113000. I looked at the reading before than Sept 2020 and the measurement was 5 mm to n front and 6mm in rear and the odometer was almost 110000. So to sum that up my pads and rotors went from 6mm to 2mm in 3000 kms. I would like to understand how that happens. I am now questioning the competency at Metro West Volvo. A response is more than deserved. I am considering contacting the BBB. More
