We immediately appreciated being given time to look around and familiarize ourselves with the VW brand before being approached. At this point, we met Rob, who spent time getting to know us rather then doing a product dump. Having been in sales most of my life, it was clear that Rob knew how to build good rapport with his clients. We were also very impressed with Rob's professionalism and extensive product and brand knowledge. He made us feel comfortable and interested enough to want to test drive a new Passat. He spent a great deal of time taking us through the important features of the car so that we could test out during drive. Upon our return, there was absolutely no sales pressure despite us mentioning that we were going to test drive competitor cars in the same category and that we had just started our search. Rob followed up with us a few days later and after we had test drove many other cars, we decided to see Rob and the Passat one more time. It was at this point that we decided to begin discussing the purchase price. Rob was very upfront with regards to the costs and incentives that could be offered and gave us a fair deal. Having bought a few new cars in my life, I can confidently say that I have never had a better client experience when purchasing a car. I first met with Rob, who was charismatic and very amiable from the get go! He made me feel comfortable from minute one and was able to understand all the aspects of leasing a car that mattered to me from a practical standpoint. Between him and Shawn, they met my ridiculous timeline requirements without breaking a sweat and all the while providing nothing short of phenomenal service. It's one thing to love my car, but now if my friends or family want to drive Volkswagens (which they will after they talk to me), I'm going to make them go to VW Waterloo irrespective of where they live because this dealership has also won me over. As someone who has worked in customer service for the better part of a decade, I know what constitutes great service and VW Waterloo provides that in spades.
