I recently visited this dealership to check out a Lexus GS 350 advertised for $13,000. While I was hopeful going in, the experience left me very disappointed. Initially, I spoke with an assistant and of GS 350 advertised for $13,000. While I was hopeful going in, the experience left me very disappointed. Initially, I spoke with an assistant and offered $8,000, which they said they could work with if I came in that day. However, when I arrived, the price had suddenly jumped to $16,000. After some back-and-forth, they lowered it to $13,000, but it felt like a bait-and-switch. I made a final offer of $11,000, considering the car’s condition and some issues I noticed. For one, the tire pressure light was on, which pointed to possible problems with the tires or sensors. Plus, when I checked the Carfax report, I found out the car had been in a prior claim—something the dealership never disclosed. Even after all that, I was willing to pay $12,000 if they included a 5-month transmission warranty. The car is almost 10 years old, and I wanted peace of mind about potential transmission problems. Unfortunately, they refused to provide any warranty, which made me question if there were deeper issues they weren’t telling me about. Another concern is the car’s heavy reliance on sensors. While this is common in modern vehicles, it means repairs could get expensive quickly if anything fails. None of this was addressed by the dealership. More

I normally do not write negative reviews but in this case I felt that I must resort to this measure. My family and I reserved a 2023 Honda Touring from Honda Vancouver located at 850 Southwest Marine Drive i I felt that I must resort to this measure. My family and I reserved a 2023 Honda Touring from Honda Vancouver located at 850 Southwest Marine Drive in Vancouver, British Columbia. We placed a $1000 deposit and we had stated that we would pay $75,000 in cash for the car. The car was going to arrive in August which was agreed upon. Salesperson MM, was our Salesperson for the purchase of the car. I had spoken with the Parts Department about purchasing running boards and they were going to give me 15% discount but they suggested that I speak with the Salesperson first who may offer a better discount. I called MM who in turn put me through to the Sales Manager, AS. When I spoke with Sales Manager AS, I stated that the Parts Department was going to give me a 15% discount on the running boards and since I was purchasing a new car would he be able to give me a better discount? Sales Manager AS raised his voice and very rudely stated that since I am giving you free floor mats, I am not going to give you a discount on the running boards. I called Salesperson MM to let him know that my family decided to cancel the purchase of the car because of the rudeness and unprofessional behavior of the Sales Manager AS. MM replied that I can go somewhere else to purchase the car without so much as an apology. We contacted another Lower Mainland Honda dealer, Destination Kingsway Honda. Ping and Kevin went above and beyond to assist us with the purchase of our new 2023 Honda Pilot Touring. They were both professional and courteous with our questions and offered better discounts. We ended up paying less for the same car. We highly recommend Destination Kingsway Honda and we were more than happy to give them our business. They provided an extremely stress free experience and excellent customer service. I will definitely not go to Vancouver Honda in future and I will say that this experience has shattered my trust in this dealer and I will not be going back for service, nor would I recommend them for purchase. I will be letting my friends and my family know about this experience. I have been to many other Honda dealerships but have never had such a bad experience. Vancouver Honda shows zero respect for its customers and there are other Honda dealerships who value customer service. Apparently Vancouver Honda has not heard of the Honda commitment to service where they state that “Vancouver Honda aims to deliver exceptional customer experiences throughout the ownership journey.” The owners of Vancouver Honda, the Dilawri Group of Companies, should know that one of their dealerships do not follow their mission statement which is “to serve and is committed to building lifelong customer relationships by delivering memorable experiences and to deliver unparalleled customer satisfaction and are professional, ethical, honest, and accountable.” I am asking for my $1000 deposit back since I am not paying for the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff at Vancouver Honda. Clearly they didn’t want our business. More
I bought my Honda here. They tell me the purchase interest rate is just to see if I can qualify for the purchase and they will give me 3.99% no problem... I get approved and They tell me the purchase interest rate is just to see if I can qualify for the purchase and they will give me 3.99% no problem... I get approved and then when I go to sign, they say this was what was signed for... They lie to us throughout the entire purchase. THEY ARE LIARS who work here and just want to make a quick buck. I'm not born yesterday. This is not the first car I purchase, but the last at this place. More

5 star vehicles from a 1 star dealership I had been looking online for a Ridgeline for some time when I found what appeared to be a good deal at Vancouver Honda. I live in the interior, so i I had been looking online for a Ridgeline for some time when I found what appeared to be a good deal at Vancouver Honda. I live in the interior, so it takes some time to get to the dealership. I negotiated an 'all-in' price and made a $5000 deposit, and said I would pay balance if vehicle was as advertised. I was already planning to go to Vancouver is 2 weeks so set the test drive for that date. Things kind of went sideways with this pandemic, but I had to go for the test-drive because the dealership made my deposit 'NON-REFUNDABLE' if I failed to appear by the set date. From my salesman, I was informed that the manager continued driving the vehicle until my arrival. The ad indicated 7,950 km, but the vehicle had 8,850 km when I arrived 12 days later. I also found the vehicle had never been serviced even though their manager recommended I change the oil every 6 mo or 8,000 km. I asked salesman about the difference between the 9 sp trans in the 2020 model compared to the 6 sp in the 2019, but said 'he was not well versed on this vehicle'. I also asked if I could switch out rear door-stops to increase door swing and he had no idea what I was talking about. I did complete the purchase, and when I installed the new door stops (from another dealer) I discovered the door speaker was missing. I called and asked why and was told that the manager would call me back - but I'm still waiting for a call-back from the whole mileage debacle. I've owned a lot of vehicles and my Hondas (or Acuras) have always stood out as great products that exceeded my expectations. This dealership however, has failed miserably. More
Professional Sales I test drove a lot of vehicles and decided on a new Honda. I also did a lot of research online and used Unhaggle to establish a good price. I emailed I test drove a lot of vehicles and decided on a new Honda. I also did a lot of research online and used Unhaggle to establish a good price. I emailed three dealers with a detailed offer with my 'drive away price' on a 2020 CRV Sport. The General Manager John Lee responded promptly and professionally. We arranged a time to meet and I closed the deal with sales guy Ira Rodriguez, with zero hidden costs. Ira was knowledgeable and professional. The process of completing the deal and picking up the vehicle went smoothly. The Finance office tried to sell us additional warranties, undercoating, etc., but that is their job, and I respect that. They did not push when I declined. The other two other Honda stores also replied to my email, but would not commit to the price via email. I have bought many cars over the years, and I have no interest in doing the "let me check with my manager" dance and "these are our standard paperwork fees, etc." nonsense. Every aspect of my deal was professional, courteous and fair. More
