Totally ridiculous that a service 1 appointment requires a "2 hour window" and that when making the service appointment it is apparently a 'check in' appointment and the 2 hour window starts after that. I a "2 hour window" and that when making the service appointment it is apparently a 'check in' appointment and the 2 hour window starts after that. I discussed this poor communication of actual service time with the service manager, as well as the lack of appointment confirmation, but did not detect any concern on his part or desire for improvement. My vehicle was taken in to the service bay after a 1 hour 48 minute wait and was back out within 10 minutes at a cost of $85. tax included. That is $510/hour! I was told the tires were rotated, they were not. Tire pressure measurements reported to be 25 psi all around, with 8/32" tread depth after 9300 km. I checked one and it is at the correct pressure of 33 psi, unable to check depth. The spare tire, which is full size on this vehicle, and therefore also to be set at 33 psi was reported at 60 psi and 4/32" tread depth. It has NEVER been out of the cargo hold and I am positive it was not assessed on this visit as the items in the cargo hold were exactly as last seen, seconds before the car was taken into the shop. This is NOT the first time a tech at this service department has made false statements regarding my vehicle tires. Assuming my car did not go up on the hoist then I am highly skeptical that the brake linings were checked as reported. The maintenance reminder code was cleared however they also managed to change the display which will now require time on my part to figure out how to return it to the preferred mode. I purchased my car from this dealership and enjoyed working with both Jesse and Neils but I will be doing my utmost to NOT return to their service department. More
Sales team are very young. They make an effort, not the most knowledgeable but they try. The service department is terrible. Every single time I've been in they hard upsell They make an effort, not the most knowledgeable but they try. The service department is terrible. Every single time I've been in they hard upsell things that you don't need, ignore things you do, but this list time.... I came in for a service 2. She upsold me to the service 3, which I was semi interested in as my rav now has 88k on it and I hoped the extra checks would be worth it. It has the common break squawk of the hybrid which the technician could replicate in an 8km drive. Although I can make it do it in a 15m drive. He also didn't lube ANYTHING didn't check air filters, didn't rotate tires, all he did was eyeball the pads. No checklist nothing, and as always they put a hair too much oil in, this seems to be common among the dealerships as this is the second one to do that and then suggest I don't know how to check oil. I've been working on cars and bikes since I was 10 so... yeah. So I complained and went back. The solution? The service manager takes my car back, checks "good" all the down the checklist, lubed the front and rear latches and the hinges(after assuring me they were already done, which they werent) and comes back. Total time in shop, 8 minutes. They also didn't bother to even top off the washer fluid so I did, then he offers to reimburse me for the washer fluid. 3 bucks really??? The whole time never once admitting they charged me for work they didn't do and then acting like he was doing me a favor. The favor being actually doing some of the work I paid for, had I not complained I wouldn't have even gotten that. No apology no refund. Sad version of customer service. Stay away from these guys, they are very lucky toyotas are so reliable as they couldn't service a cheese sandwich. Sadly I'm stuck with them. More

The dealership followed physical distancing protocols and the test-drive process worked really well. I didn't feel pressured to buy and their pricing was very fair when compared to other dealerships. Keenan Grant was excellent as a product advisor. He was honest, straightforward, and helpful. He promptly took care of some cosmetic damage that I noted and followed up to make sure that I was happy with the finished condition of the vehicle. I appreciate his integrity and his communication. Arsh Seehra in Finance was also straightforward and honest. It was a hassle-free car-buying experience. More

Received a phone call on the next Monday We took our 2014 Rav4 in for repairs on a Warranty Enhancement Program for a Torque Converter Shuttle issue. Received a phone call on the next Monday stating our transmission is gone and that Toyota Canada and the Warranty won't cover it. Now, we are expected to pay a 1/3 of the replacement for a 'rebuilt' transmission for damage they have done. Stay away from this place at all costs. There is no integrity or accountability whatsoever! More

I didn’t buy it here because the sales department was just as slimy. I brought the van in on a Saturday and met Frank. Turns out he’s the Service Manager! We went on a test drive together and he saw what the problem was immediately. The van had to come back, so we scheduled a Wednesday visit. I arrived at the dealer and was driven home in their courtesy shuttle (another Sienna). That driver was chatty and told me that the shuttle had also had the transmission problem and that they had fixed it. Now watch this. I get a call later that day. They can’t see a problem. I tell them that Frank knew right away what it was and so did the shuttle driver. I was told to come get the van. I get to the dealership and everything feels weird. They say, there’s nothing to fix. I said Frank knows, and I see him standing there, but suddenly he’s called to the back and the service writer says, “Frank’s not in today.” I said he’s standing right there. The guy keeps saying “Can I help you? Can I help you?” Over and over. So now they say I’ve got to talk to Clint, their Fixed Operations Manager. I wait twenty minutes for this guy. Nobody will talk to me. I tried to call the shuttle driver over to go over our conversation and they suddenly call him away too. So weird. So now we go out and Clint has his laptop on his knees and the van is all over the place and he’s talking about 24% pedal deflection etc etc and at the end of the terrible drive he announces, “Guess you are happy with the way the van drives!” I said I’m furious. Haven’t you been listening? I kicked him out of my van. Sent my son in to get my case number. Instead, he writes the toll free number for Toyota on his card. Says he’s opening up a case with Toyota. I never hear another word from there again. That damned place used to be good. I bought two new Toyota’s there. Couldn’t buy the third. When I say it’s slimy and sleazy over there, I mean it. Things have really changed. More
Sleazy Sales Department I tried to buy a new Sienna van as the lease on our 2013 was coming to an end. I’d bought two other new Toyota products at this dealership and only wa I tried to buy a new Sienna van as the lease on our 2013 was coming to an end. I’d bought two other new Toyota products at this dealership and only wanted to buy another. I live nearby and had always been happy here so naturally I chose them again. I even went back to the previous salesman. I’d been talking about trading in our van. The salesman (Rob) had given me some end-of-lease numbers as we had equity in the van. The numbers were wrong twice, but I was finally given a printed sheet and that put an end to confusions. During the visit I noticed that Rob was not really listening to me, but rather asking these weird questions. I tried talking g about the van. My research told me what they were going for on Craigslist and other sources, but Rob told me that “We don’t fool around with Craigslist!” They had OTHER sources that indicated that the van was selling for far less. Next, he told me that the new van sale would be charged a Doc Fee, a crooked little add-on that dealers use to prop up a low-profit sale. It’s made up. I told him so. He said Valley Toyota had hung on long enough and finally had to succumb to the phoney charge. The van I wanted was not in stock and had to be ordered. I was told that a factory order would be four months away minimum. I later found out that I could have waited two weeks and had one. Next visit, Rob tells me that they will be charging me $395 to inspect the trade in. Huh?? I told him I’d be happy to go get a Provincial Facility Inspection. He said they wouldn’t accept that. They had to inspect the van themselves. Obviously a cash grab. He says, you signed a paper at the time of lease saying that you agreed to that charge. I asked for the signed proof. He gives me a blank and says this is what you would have signed. We had no copy ourselves so we requested one. He said the papers had been archived and were buried in a warehouse. The trade value was predictably lowball. They drove my van and looked it over with a fine tooth comb and pointed out every flaw they could, then offered to take the van off my hands. My van was always maintained flawlessly and serviced on time. During my shopping I had been offered a trade at Abbotsford Toyota. I gave Rob the details of the deal. Disgusted by now with these weird 80’s style tactics, I told Rob that all he had to do was give me a yes or no. There would be no phoney extra charges. He said no. We bought in Abbotsford. Would you put up with this? Not only did I not have any value to those people as a three-time buyer, but I was treated like a sucker and tested over and over to see how stupid or uniformed I was. More
