However I can openly and honestly say my opinion has been altered to be a more positive experience thanks to Ulmer Chevrolet in Lloydminster,Alberta. In particular my experience with Bridget, Melissa and briefly Lance I felt heard, understood and absolutely no pressure. Taking 5 vehicles for a test drive allowed me to make a self driven choice of the vehicle that suits my personal situation and circumstances and needs. Thank you for that experience. Overall great experience, the staff were very helpful with getting me into my new car. However, I was told about a rebate that was basically my whole reason for going through if the deal, and then was t with getting me into my new car. I'm still happy about getting the car, but that little bit is really upsetting as the requirements for the rebate don't really make much sense. More

A little history of me and my car...I drive..a lot. And my buggy has taken me across western Canada and the US more than once. And I truly enjoy my car, the ride, the loud stereo, the fuel economy and my a my buggy has taken me across western Canada and the US more than once. And I truly enjoy my car, the ride, the loud stereo, the fuel economy and my ability to treat it like its a 8 cylinder 4 x 4 even when its just an all wheel drive 4 cylinder :) I have noticed a few odd things that I knew were just not right and had taken it in to get fixed. The problems persisted and subsequent visits fixed the obvious problem at the time, but the nagging, not quite performing right vibe just didn't go away. And then the check engine light came on...again and again and even after resetting it, fixing bits here and there...it's still on. This is where Matt comes in...after pulling into the bay once again, he brings the code reader and we set about to see code 420 again and reset it. But that's where things start to change. After the usual reset, he took the time to ask a multitude of questions about my car and the history of its problems. He looked into the past service issues and began to investigate why the buggy is not quite up to par. It's taken a few weeks so far to do oil consumption tests and get the whole history read through and understood, but it is moving forward. My buggy will be going in for a final diagnostic to verify the problem and then the underlying problem that has caused so many visits to the service department should be resolved. After a fair bit of frustration, Matt has helped so much in figuring out how to get this problem fixed, from initially wanting to help and then making inquiries, keeping me informed and restoring my trust that my car will be fixed properly. He is wonderfully pleasant and easy to talk too, as well as taking time to listen. I'll be back in a week or two to give a final review on how things went :) but for now, I am very happy with how things are going. More

Right from the beginning when we met Terri Fair, she was awesome to deal with. She was very patient with us and accommodating to our needs. Both my husband and I are a bit older, we don't show up at places well dressed and I don't wear makeup and neither one of us would make it in a fitness magazine (LOL).... But we do notice that at some places we are treated a bit differently because we are not "showy" people which we found both Terri and Melissa didn't seem to care and treated us excellent. Thanks to both for the excellent customer service!!! The next new vehicle we purchase will likely be purchased at Ulmer Chev. More
