Feel ripped off! So we came into the dealership to trade in a vehicle. Traded it in for another used vehicle. Told me what I needed to Hear After an initial talk with another sales employee looking at the prospect of getting a Sienna AWD, I visited Honda to also look for the Odyssey. But came back and talked to Gerry for another round of selection. The price was higher with the Odyssey but it was still my first choice, Gerry gave me sound and practical suggestions that made me re-think my preference. I am fairly new to Canada. I haven't built my credit rating yet to afford a new car i really wanted. I have to think of the coming expenses once my family will join me here. I have had some prior expenses with renting a house, buying appliances and furniture. And purchasing a new car, with only a GDL license (meaning higher insurance). So, insurance was something I overlooked, initially. So, Gerry was frank to tell me what I needed to hear, rather than just selling me a car (and him earning a profit). Also, upon getting the car, i noticed some work needed to be done on the unit, and I told Gerry about it, and he personally took care of it, as a sign that he thinks of my welfare, and is still there for me, even after the purchase. Gerry, didn't make false or over promises. He didn't gloss on the offer. He didn't have to resort to make the other brand look bad. He just told me what I needed to hear. And I find his being honest and frank as a major factor in deciding for the Toyota. I pray Gerry will have more clients, as I am pretty sure he wont just sell you a car. But he cares for you welfare. Wonderful experience Gerry was there right from the start until the end of the process. He started assisting me thru messenger and then that's it, He got me a nice deal an Gerry was there right from the start until the end of the process.
