Misleading! Waste of my time and theirs! I contacted Helena about a used 2017 Buick Encore Silver and a 2017 Black Encore . Was told the Black Encore was sold, but the silver was available. S I contacted Helena about a used 2017 Buick Encore Silver and a 2017 Black Encore . Was told the Black Encore was sold, but the silver was available. Spoke With Mitch told him about my credit not being good. I let him go ahead an see what he could do budget wise and if they would take me on. He called back said yes, he has a couple of offers on and if I could go in at 12:30 the next day. I went the next day and was ready for my test drive. I come out to a 2017 Blue encore. Nice vehicle , don't like blue. Asked about the silver one that I had called about , Helena told me this was just for the sake of the test drive as they all drive the same. Very nice vehicle. Not what I wanted. Back into the office . Sat for a period of time, Mitch wanted to make one more phone call to the bank. I sat there and when he came back asked if there was another color I liked that the silver one had sold. I said Black, well they found a black one after I was told it was sold. Took it for a drive loved it. Went back to the office he showed me the the payments almost double what I told them my budget was. I said I thought I would wait and get what I wanted. He then sent Helena for a black sonic and they brought it around front , he told me that was in my budget , to take it for a test drive. I said no not what I want. He then told me that 2 banks would not take me on and that I only had one bank to choose from...I said that is fine. I will wait. I reflected on this meeting and the funny thing is Is I never did see that silver Encore that I went to see.But funny how the black encore all of sudden was on the lot! I was livid the next day when I looked at my equifax report and there were 5 inquires!. My daughter and her husband had the same experience last year. They went in to look at a dodge journey and ended up with an Equinox . Not what they wanted . They bought the Equinox and found out that the time chain was gone and had a heck of time for them to fix it. They went back in and came home with a chevy cruise, very nice car ,they are having a few problems with. But they are in debt up to their ying yang because I guess when they seen two twenty year olds come thru the door , they were easy prey.......I am soon going to be buying a new vehicle, but after this experience I will buy elsewhere....Just a heads up! Honesty is the best policy . More
