Good service until delivery The sales person was very friendly and flexible in finding me the Ram 1500 Sport unit I was looking for as they didn't have one in stock. But when it The sales person was very friendly and flexible in finding me the Ram 1500 Sport unit I was looking for as they didn't have one in stock. But when it came time for delivery, the performance hood I had expected to be part of the truck, and which was part of the quote I brought in to the dealership from the Dodge website, was not included despite several conversations that it be included. After giving Tower a chance to correct the issue; their solution was to pull a hood off of a used truck (mine is brand new) and still charge me their dealer cost for a new hood of $1000 to change it out. I obviously disagreed as this should have been part of the delivery in the first place. The salesman apologized for my "inconvenience"; but made no further attempt to solve my issue. This is the 2nd Ram truck I've purchased from Tower, and after multiple affirmations that they appreciated my repeat business, I would have expected a much better effort to be made to resolve my issue. Beware of hidden extras Overall good sales experience, and very persistent sales staff - they are willing to keep reducing the quote to prevent you from leaving the showroom Overall good sales experience, and very persistent sales staff - they are willing to keep reducing the quote to prevent you from leaving the showroom to explore other options. I was offered a good trade-in on my old Wrangler, and I think I could have gotten an even better deal if I was a stronger negotiator. Ask in advance about the (optional) hidden extras - $800 admin fees, $2,500 for paint and underbody protection, $3,000 for extended warranty. These amounts are not discussed or explained during the negotiation, and causes a shock when you see the amount being financed after the deal is agreed. I personally feel it is absurd that paint and underbody protection is viewed as an optional extra in Alberta - in my mind same as arguing that a steering wheel is optional. My positive experience was totally spoiled at the end by the Finance Manager's attitude - as soon as I refused the optional warranty and paint protection, he started treating me with a condescending attitude. In hindsight I should have got up and walked out. I will not do business with him ever again. More

Buyer Beware! Purchased a Jeep Wrangler and a Jeep Grand Cherokee at the same time on Dec 30. We were told we came at an optimum time because of Boxing Week and end Purchased a Jeep Wrangler and a Jeep Grand Cherokee at the same time on Dec 30. We were told we came at an optimum time because of Boxing Week and end of a slower month to get a great deal. This review is specific to the Wrangler and the deal we thought we got in hindsight was not as good as presented and based on misleading information. For the initial negotiation we were told that the list price was $52,000 and they would give us a $2000 discount. All the final details are not directly relevant to this review because it is this starting point that is the issue. Tower Chrysler removes all the window stickers from their vehicles. When it comes to the negotiation, you are presented with a handwritten number that they say is the list price. From this point you negotiate and perceive the discounts you get. After they give you discounts, trade value, etc, you make a decision based on the value you perceive you are getting. As it turns out, the vehicle list price was actually $49,000 as per the actual window sticker for the vehicle we obtained through other sources, which identically matched the build price on Jeep.ca and identically matched another identical vehicle they had in stock which was advertised on their website, except in a different color. Identical models, packages and options with no additional dealer installed options as part of the list price presented. So we subsequently asked for the list price info and pricing breakdown as well as the window sticker as we trusted there must have been an administrative error. We were repeatedly told the list price was $52,000 with no additional justification and were also told they don't have window stickers. Finally, over a week later and requests on a daily basis and getting the same deflecting responses excluding any justification, management responds that it's a high demand model and it is priced accordingly higher than the window sticker price. He goes on to try and justify this by deflecting it to trade-in value received and that it was our own free will to make the deal. However, they have the identical model, package, options, etc, on their website advertised at the correct price. This was never disclosed during the negotiation which is highly misleading when they claim they are giving you a discount. To not disclose this and then misrepresent the "discount" you are getting on list price is not only poor business practice, it is potentially not legal. We are now pursuing this with AMVIC to investigate. So Tower Chrysler's perspective on customer service is to eliminate pricing transparency by removing window stickers, then inflate prices without disclosing they have done so and why, then create what is essentially a ficticious discount to create a sense of getting a deal, and then claim in the end they negotiated a "fair" deal on your own free will. Our salesman hasn't been tagged to this post because he was actually really good, helpful, tried his best to get follow-up and went above and beyond. We give him 5 stars. This is a management issue he is no control over and the rating is reflective of the dealership and the end result they have created. More
