I brought my brand new 2011 f-450 motorhome in for a wheel alignment as it was pulling quite hard to the passenger side. This was a warranty repair. On the way home I noticed the motorhome was pulling s wheel alignment as it was pulling quite hard to the passenger side. This was a warranty repair. On the way home I noticed the motorhome was pulling slightly to the drivers side. I phoned in and told them it needed a little tweak to fix it -much improved, but not quite right.Your service department said no problem-bring it back in, we"ll fix it. When we came back in your service tech told us to get a spring problem looked at first, then get the front end aligned-it made more sense to do the alignment last. When we brought the motorhome in to get the alignment done ,it sat all day at your shop. We were told at 4 in the afternoon that your alignment machine was broken and it wouldnt be fixed that day. We brought it back in a week later, got it fixed ,and I got a bill for 131.42. I argued with your customer service rep that it was a warranty repair but he insisted that it wasnt because we had our springs fixed. Its funny, it was a warranty repair before your mechanic told us to get the springs fixed first, then, when we did it was our problem, not warrantys. Your customer service rep tried to tell me that all motorhomes have steering problems- Funny, Ive had a half dozen of them and none had steering problems. The mechanic that worked on my motorhome did a great job and I am more than happy with his advice to correct the spring problem, and his work to correct the steering problems, but quite frankly I am less than happy with your service rep, and pissed off about the bill. Consistently good, Each and every time. This cannot be a coincidence. The Ford dealership in Nanaimo does it right. From oil changes to inspections to tire rotations. a coincidence. The Ford dealership in Nanaimo does it right. From oil changes to inspections to tire rotations. More

On November 20 (Sunday)my 2011 Escape would not start, being aware the service dept was closed I had the vehicle towed to the dealership on Monday. I arrived approx 7:45 am, I spoke with the receptionist being aware the service dept was closed I had the vehicle towed to the dealership on Monday. I arrived approx 7:45 am, I spoke with the receptionist explaining what was going on she informed me the service dept appointments were all booked for the day, and my vehicle would most likely not be seen, I advised that this was not a problem and needed a loaner car to get to work, she promptly and very rudely said we don't have loaner cars, then she passed my onto Scott a service rep saying he would explain, he proceeded to say that Ford would not assist with a loaner car, then he asked me if I had purchased a rental car package when I purchased my car then I could get a car. I advised no but had purchased a maintenance package, He then said that I could get a ride to a car rental place and get a car at my expense, and if Ford kept my car overnight Ford "might reimburse me"by now I was getting very upset as Scott just kept talking over me, he was not acknowledging anything I had to say. As I tried many times to express myself for instance, my car is just a year old and under full warranty, and I needed to get to work. If my request was not within his authority, he should have gone to his supervisor and explaind the situation at least this would have shown me he was trying to assist me. I found Scott to be very condescending. I was so upset, that I went to go outside and that is when I ran into Ryan Fife, my salesman for my car. He asked me how I was doing, I responded not very good, he followed me outside and asked what was wrong. I explained that my car would not start, I had to have it towed and needed a car to get to work and was told I would have to get a car at my expense. Ryan noticing how upset I was said no problem I have a car for you to use. I instantly felt validated in how I was feeling, and he took the time to care. Now I don't know how the appointments are scheduled and I didn't have a problem if the car did not get looked at till the next day,but when I was almost to my job my cell phone rang (9:00am)and it was Brian (service tech)advising he had already ran tests on my car, fortunatelty the diagnostics didn't show anything, still quite puzzling why the car did not start on Sunday, but Brian went above and beyond with his customer service, he called and kept me informed quite a few times over the 2 days. When you spend over $35,000.00 on a new vehicle, I didn't think it was to much for a loaner car so I could get to work, A copy of this letter has been sent to Ford Canada head office. More
Our Ford Escape needed a replacement part under warranty. The vehicle was repaired in the time frame they promised and when we picked it up it was clean and shiny as well which I greatly appreciated.
