Sales staffs lack of product knowledge cost me thousands . I traded in the 4th Tacoma that I had bought from that dealer on a 2024 model . When discussing the trade in I asked if my electric trailer brake controller would work on the 2024 TRD sport that I was buying . The salesman assured me that it would . The sales manager backed up the salesmans claim that my aftermarket brake controller could be easily installed on my new purchase . After handing over my 2020 Tacoma and a large check I soon discovered that it was not going to be possible . I had made business commitments that I needed a truck with a brake controller for and after three weeks of being told that I would be looked after was left in a situation where I had to trade my 2024 Tacoma with 2000 kms on for a 2023 model with 20,000 km on from another dealer . The other dealer told me up front that it was not possible to use an after market brake controller on a base level 2024 TRD sport . If the salesman at sunrise was up front with me about this I might have spent more, instead of being stuck spending 55k on a truck that would not do what I was told it would do . I eventually got tired of being told that they were going ro look after me , just to get me off the phone . I would never trust this dealership again More
Having leased numerous Toyota's from this dealership since mid 1980's I have always had excellent service. I have maintained the servicing schedule as per Toyota schedule and I have never had a problem since mid 1980's I have always had excellent service. Naturally there have been lots of personnel changes over the years but have never had a cause to question the service department. I find that any contact I have with the business whether sales or service I have been treated with the utmost respect and would recommend them to anyone wishing to purchase or use their service department. I can’t believe I actually have to give this place even one star to get to this step If it was up to me they would get 5 xxxxx. Regular maintenance notification came on in my Corolla so went in. They sent me on the road with a faulty tire after reporting the car was 100%, wanted to talk to the owner Tom Ruff who is “overseas”: found out he was actually golfing at a local golf course, Maintenance light comes back on, bring it in and they book me in a week and a half later. Bring my car back in and am told about the worn tire (that wasn’t recorded in the initial appointment) and they apparently reset the code for the maintenance notification. I drive out and the notification comes back on. I pull right back in and have it “reset” again. Two days later a notification about my blind spot indicator and rear cross traffic alert come on. Bring it back in. Book me for a week and a half later. Go in. “We need to order a part. We can get you in, you guessed it, I’m a week and a half. “ I bring my car in, wasn’t told it would be 2 1/2 hours to fix. Ok no problem. “All fixed for you sir”. I don’t even get out of the lot and the same notification comes up on my dash. I go back. Obviously a bit agitated, and am told by Mark Mayo to go f myself. Great service. More
This is the absolute WORST dealership that I have ever been to. Customer service would have been better if we received NONE. The customer service we received was extremely RUDE. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced Brought my car into have its 18 months appointment. Out of pure laziness they didn't bother to check my tires (even though rotation OR proper snow tir Brought my car into have its 18 months appointment. Out of pure laziness they didn't bother to check my tires (even though rotation OR proper snow tire installation is included) They didn't tell me they skipped that part nor did I receive any money off of my service for them cutting corners. When I called them to ask about this because i noticed that the alignment and/or balance was off, the extremely rude "customer service" person in the service department condescendingly told me that OF COURSE they didn't touch my tires because they noticed I already had snow tires installed and proceeded to tell me that its wasn't their problem because they didn't even work on my tires (even though it should have been properly done within the included price. the only difference is that the tires were on the car and not in the backseat). Seeing the futility of continuing the conversation, I said "goodbye" and hung up. Not 5 minutes later I received a call/voicemail from the same individual. First to complain about how rude I was to end the conversation before SHE was done and then came a sales pitch to try to get me to pay for additional services. My wife went in the next day in person to see if talking to a different, more tactful individual would resolve the issue. Unfortunately she ended up with the same person initially who AGAIN made a point of complaining about how rude i was to end the conversation the night before without hearing the sales pitch. When she finally was able to talk to the MANAGER, she was subjugated to a lengthy mansplaining session culminating with him refusing to clarify any further and with him literally saying she "should get [her] husband, because he will understand the situation" Never going back there again and I would recommend you do not as well. More

2015 Tacoma sill leaking oil I purchased a new 2015 Tacoma. I had a transmission leak. After going back and forth to dealership I finally had the transmission replaced. After 7 I purchased a new 2015 Tacoma. I had a transmission leak. After going back and forth to dealership I finally had the transmission replaced. After 7,000 kilometres later transmission has started to leak again. Have called Toyota head office many times in hopes of getting my issue with my transmission solved. Three years later still waiting for a fix to this problem. More

Of course in dealing with this dealership over the years, have found both the sales and service deapartment have exceeded our expectations. So I would recommend this dealership hands. Down. Over priced I had been a customer of this dealer for a number of years. When I had received a quote for some work to be done that I thought was high. So I thought I had been a customer of this dealer for a number of years. When I had received a quote for some work to be done that I thought was high. So I thought I would phone another Toyota dealer near by to get a price for the same job. They gave me a quote that was subsequently a lot less expensive. I phoned this dealer back to see what they would do about their price. They didn't care about the other dealer's price and said that this is our price. I would advise you to get another dealer price first before this dealer tries to over charge you too. It makes me wonder how many other times I paid to much.They have lost me as a customer. More

First we were promised the vehicle we wanted in the budget we had set so we decided to make the drive up and talk to the dealer manager. Turns out he didn't do his researched and promised us a price on a vehile they couldn't even get their hands on. So he made us a "deal" on a vehicle in their lot and we fell for it and of course it was out of our budget range (our problem but we thought the "extras" at cost were worth it)! When we booked our appoitment to pick up the new vehicle and arrived on time we had to wait 40 min which was tough with our young children. Then we had questions after we purchased about licensing/owership but we couldn't get anyone on the phone at the dealership and after leaving two voicemails no one ever called us back. Recently tried calling the dealership manager twice about a product were were promised at cost and he said he would get back to me both times within an hour and I still have not been called back. So feeling a little discouraged. More
