I went in to test drive a vehicle and ended up purchasing it that same day. Vincent went the extra mile to make sure I was happy before I signed the paperwork. He was incredibly friendly and went through all of the paperwork in detail. He worked with me to make sure I was getting the best rate, price and options. Both of these guys made such a great impression, that my mother (who accompanied me through the process), will be visiting them for her next vehicle purchase. This is only the second vehicle I've purchased from a dealership in my lifetime but it was, by far, the best experience. I am now driving the vehicle that I've been dreaming of for the last few years. I will certainly be returning to Subaru Calgary for my future purchases and will absolutely recommend them to anyone. I took my car for servicing Oct 14. The car was kept overnight. After pickup the next day I noticed damage to my rear window. Brought it in a week later to be looked at. Went back in November and they said it couldn't be buffed but they would be in touch. No response to calls or emails to service Manager Paul. After more calls they advised the damage must have been there although it was not documented when I brought the vehicle in. Wrote to the manager of the dealership to summarize my poor experience. No reply. Terrible customer service and now I have a damaged window. More
I unfortunately had to buy 2 new cars last year due to the first one being written off in the first month of owning. My wife and I purchased a 2020 Outback March of 2020. Positives; flexible on price and that has been the extent of it. I would not recommend this dealership for anyone who want or expects any lasting Positives; flexible on price and that has been the extent of it. I would not recommend this dealership for anyone who want or expects any lasting post purchase customer support. We have had nothing but frustrating experiences. They stained the privacy flap in the back with some sort of chemical. They told me to bring it in so they can clean it with a free detailing; managed to make the staining bigger and worse. We had the 2'' trailer hitch installed at purchase, they did a hack job of cutting the bumper cover around the hitch making it look like crap. I brought the issue up immediately and to this date of writing, February 11, 2022, have not replaced the bumper. We do not live in Calgary, we lived in Pincher Creek at the time, further now, so it is hard to make our way there. I sent pictures immediately and was assured the part would be ordered and installed at the first oil change. NOPE, forgot to order and install. Second attempt, at the second oil change, NOPE, ordered the piece but did not install because they forgot to add it to the work order. Third attempt at the third oil change (keep in mind I am driving over 600km round trip for these oil changes, with multiple calls with the service manager to make sure everything is ordered, in stock and ready) NOPE, they ordered the wrong part and was unable to install the part. I was told at this third failure that the service and parts managers would be figuring out what to do about this problem. Two months have passed since the third failure, I called a couple weeks after that to inquire, and no call back. I call again, finally get the service manager on the phone, and he has no idea what the problem is, has to check with the parts guys and tells me he will call back. This was two weeks ago with no call back. ALL in all, this dealership will ghost their responsibilities as soon as they have your money. They are incapable of handling any issues that come up. Lastly, their managers are incompetent and lack resolve to make you satisfied. More
