Good Afternoon Matt, I wanted to respond quickly to the review that you have posted up regarding your experience with our service department. I was surprised to read of your experience as the typical reviews we receive from Google and Dealer Rater are very good. I did some digging on our side and I've spoken with our service department. They inform me that they were able to get you warranty on your engine which Centaur was not. So we'd already managed to save you about $13,000 for the replacement of your engine. It appears that the contention was around a $125 charge for some diagnostics around the hard starting which you requested. We do have a signed request from you to do those diagnostics and Stephanie said the vehicle wouldn't even turn over when it was first brought into the store. I apologize for the length of time it took for the engine to come in, though it sounds like again there were some outstanding receipts and maintenance items we needed from you to get the approval done for the engine which added to the time. So I guess from our perspective we were able to get your STi running with a brand new motor that another dealership had already rejected. It did take some extra time, but some of that was due to needing receipts for maintenance on the vehicle. We have your signature authorizing the diagnostic work. I'm not sure how else we could have handled the situation. I'll be posting a public response to your review in the next few days. But I wanted to see if there was anything that I was missing regarding your experience before I do so. Thanks! Drew~

First of all: These signed documents you claim to have are nonexistent because I sent the car right from High River and did everything over the phone. I never saw the car until 3 weeks had passed already. The oil change records that held up the service only took me 1 extra day to get, Stephanie took a day off and I had no way to get those to her on that Friday and as a result I had to wait until Monday to get in touch again. And from my understanding, my car never want to centaur subaru, the car was picked up from High River and dropped straight off at Subaru Calgary. I don't even know where you got centaur subaru from. Also, even after all that, me and my family were treated like shit by two of the service department members and I was hoping for an apology instead of all these excuses as to why the poor service was not Subaru Calgary's fault.
