Recently bought a used 2015 Forester from this dealer. Everything was fine for the most part during the buying process, but after that it got worse. 1 week after purchase, my battery that “passed” the AMV Everything was fine for the most part during the buying process, but after that it got worse. 1 week after purchase, my battery that “passed” the AMVIC and their own inspection died. The CAA tech that tested my battery told me it had <20% battery life. Subaru did replace this battery for free, but it makes me question the thoroughness of their inspection. About a month later (3500 kms), I check my oil, and it is pitch black. Needless to say this is alarming, as my salesperson told me the oil had been changed before purchase. I went elsewhere for an oil change, and they told me it was the colour they would expect oil on a Diesel engine to be. All in all, very disappointed with the lies and half truths - seemingly just to sell the vehicle. More
