Waste my time Stricklands dealership in Brantford seems to have a selling tool that a lot of people that I have talked to all agree with ....it's called a lie . After finding a truck I wanted to buy at Stricklands and working out the contract we had agreed to have the truck brought in the next day for me to view and to finalize the contract . At this time I asked for a trade in value on my car which is a 2011 Malibu platinum . My salesman went to one of his managers to get me a verbal quote and came back with between $9,000.00 and 12,000.00 . I came in the next day and viewed the truck and wanted to finalize the deal as this was the truck I wanted . The salesman and I filled out the trade in forms and he went to see one of his managers again. This time he comes back and says my car is only worth between 5,000.00 and 6,000.00 . This amount shocked me as they cut my trade in value in half . I have some real foul words for this dealership as I even had a rep from Stricklands call and ask for my experience rating which I rated a 0 in the range of 1 to 10 . She asked if a manger could call and try to work things out ....I said yes and guess what ? They never called . Nice job of salesmanship Stricklands ......your a waste of my time. More

Almost got killed by the tires that they safetied. I bought a used 2009 pontiac wave from them and had it safetied and etested at the dealership. At that time the tires appeared acceptable but i notice I bought a used 2009 pontiac wave from them and had it safetied and etested at the dealership. At that time the tires appeared acceptable but i noticed that in wet weather right off the bat they were absolutely terrible. anyways a few months and 5000km after i bought it (I bought it in august and this happened in november) I was driving down the linc in Hamilton and my tire blew out almost causing me to wreck in heavy traffic with my 1 year old in the car. I changed the tire and found that on the inside edge of the tire where you cant see from the outside without reaching around and feeling, the tread was worn all the way through with the metal bands on the tire poking through drastically. It was the same on all the tires. Tires dont wear that much in 5000km with the amount that they were worn, the metal bands were already poking through when i bought it. after i changed the tire the spare tire then blew out after driving 50 meters, I had to have it towed. Also with how uneven the wear was, it had clearly been way out of alignment. so talk about mickey mouse safety. So I call them expecting them to sort this out for me because they clearly screwed me over, and I get told that they arent covering it because it passed the safety on their records. not even a set of used tires. So Im never shopping there again, their service center just pumps out vehicles without checking them properly or so it seems. More

False advertising ... When I spoke to manager about the price and advertisement he told it was the July pricing (this happened today August 21) in the advertisement in their website . Also the manager was very rude didnt even bothered to apologize for the false advertisement We got so frustrated n left ... what a great sales manager.. More
