Spring Tune Up I had my Sonata in last week for it's Spring tune up, had a coupon from Hyundai, got oil changed & tires swapped. They did a free check of my Sonata's I had my Sonata in last week for it's Spring tune up, had a coupon from Hyundai, got oil changed & tires swapped. They did a free check of my Sonata's alignment and even washed the car. Great job done by everyone!! Thanks very much! More
Appointment to check the brakes My wife took the car in for inspection, now I knew it probably needed brake shoes but they told her it need almost $900 worth of brake work or they wo My wife took the car in for inspection, now I knew it probably needed brake shoes but they told her it need almost $900 worth of brake work or they wont pass. my wife called me and toll me the news. she gave me the list of the work order. I called another garage and it would cost me $239 for the exact same work so I told my wife to get a rejection sticker and come home. I got the work done at another garage and it cost me even less, it cost me $176 because Hyundai said the emergency brake cylinder needed to be replace because it was seized but it wasn't, it was in perfect condition. They are very slick with their words and con jobs. And other customers are right, every time you bring your car in for just oil they come up with a pile of bull just to get more money, I will never never ever buy a Hyundai again. More
Consistently bad service!! Terrible service, or basically non-existent service. Never leave without a bill over $150 even if just in for oil change, and they always find something new wrong. Most recent appointment they didn't even get to my car!! Took off work to get car there and more time to go back to pick it up only to hear, sorry didn't have time to get to it today, several of our mechanics called in sick. I'm done with them. They give Steele and Hyundai a bad name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
Uncomfortable Experience Visited tis morning for service. Had to insist on the 15% coupon that was emailed to me. Service manager acted as if he didn't know anything about it. Tire change was included in the package offered, but they wanted an extra $25 to balance tires (which were already on separate rims). Bad gut feeling about prices & service. Hard to know if work is good quality as I'm not a mechanic. More
Don't bring your Hyundai here for service. They are not interested to give you a service at all. Just a bunch of jokers seating there and getting paid. Story doesn't end here but rather starts here. Anytime I took my Veloster in for any issue, they can't find anything with it, but they will IIf I stay there wasting my time showing them what they should've found themselves in the first place. They don't have any reason trying to find what the issue is and would love to get your car out of the lot ASAP. do not waste your time and energy getting a car from here even if the nicest sales person is selling you a car. He/she won't be seeing you after the sale is done anyway. More
rip offs took my car in for rattling noise,said they took it for a drive and couldn't find it but I watched as they drove the car into the bay and not for a dr took my car in for rattling noise,said they took it for a drive and couldn't find it but I watched as they drove the car into the bay and not for a drive.Also said I should get a timing belt and two other belts,also told me it wouldn't pass inspection it needed some bushings replaced I took it to scotia tire and had a mechinic check everything out it passed inspection without a problem,he e ven looked up the timing belt and found it doesen't need replacing until it hits 100,000 klicks.So needless to say I won't be going back there again.My daughter also had a bad experiance with them they wantes over 300.00 dollars for spark plugs and wires so again we go elsewhere get it all done for 197.00.I hate dishonest people who figure just because your a women your going to believe everything they say.I'm entitled to a free oil change from them but I won't even go back for that.Never again,will I buy a Hyundai from this dealership because of the service dept.The salesmen I bought from was great Wayne Currie,but not anything else I advise everybody to stay clear unless its covered by warrenty sincerly Lisette Morrissey More
Went for an oil change and regular maintenance, they charged double of what the other Steele dealers do. They also did not do a inspection that the head of Steele customer service insured that every d charged double of what the other Steele dealers do. Nor did they top off any fluid which again is a standard feature at other steele dealers. If you happen to buy your car here do not take it here for service, you can take it to any steele dealer and maintain your warranty. After talking to the steele auto group customer service all they had to say was that it was "unfortunate". If you want to be over charged and and receive well under sub-par service then by all means call Mark and set up an appointment today. More
I recieved a referral from a friend about Mr currie, and that the new hyundais were very good fuel wise cars at a very reasonable rate. Although I already had approval for financincg for a 2010 nissan versa at Oregan's Nissan, I decided to give Mr Currie a call. I was dissatisfied with Oregan's because the finance dept there seeked approval through another bank on my behalf without my consent. Steele Hyundai's people were very transparent with me, and although the price listing and what you actually can walk away with as a minimum was very different, I understood that was something all dealers were doing.
