The sales person was not honest and did not disclose information that was later added to the final amount after we had agreed on price. Purchased several trucks from this dealership and have also recommended man others to purchase vehicles from this dealership. My most recent purchase of a new truck back in 2017 has turned out to be a very disappointing experience. While having very little issues, mechanically, with my truck to date, I recently began to have paint peeling issues on several areas of my truck. The vehicle is 4 years old and has passed one aspect of the warranty coverage for similar issues however, based on the nature of the peeling, it is quite apparent this is not a cause of environmental issues / wear-and-tear but a matter of poor adhesion to the base coat. After several discussions with the dealership, ongoing discussions with GM Canada and many second opinions from local automotive body repair shope in the area, it is very disheartening to have such little care given from the dealership and brand that I have been very loyal to support over the past 10 years. It is also very disappointing to have a Manager agree face-to-face that a manufacturer's defect clearly exisits only to have it refuted by GM Canada and deemed an environmental issue following a discussion with this same individual. Further research indicated this is not an isolated issue with GM Trucks, as there a numerous complaints on similarly-aged vehicles of the same model. I am in the market for a new vehicle in the near future and will not be bringing my business to Steele Chevrolet in the future. Overall extremely disappointed in the service of late as well as the lack of support to a blatently obvious manufacturer's defect. More
I visited this dealership today to have a recall addressed. I was extremely satisfied with the service attendants and the service writers at this time. Due to Covid I was not permitted to remain in addressed. I was extremely satisfied with the service attendants and the service writers at this time. Due to Covid I was not permitted to remain in the building which was perfectly understandable. I live 1/2 hour away from the dealership and could not see the value in taking a taxi (even at the dealers expense) to return home and back for a two hour service. I decided to remain outside at the dealership. These are my observations of my wait: 1/ There is no place to wait! You would think that with Covid regulations, there would be at least a chair/ bench/ or something strategically placed around the dealership! 2/ The buildings themselves appear to be in a deteriorated state, not indicative of a reputable GM dealership. 3/ No smoking signs have no meaning whatsoever. During my 2 hour wait I observed dealership employees smoking at will everywhere and anywhere signs or no signs. I have smoke allergies and was constantly forced to move from my chosen waiting area to accommodate smokers. 4/ There seemed to be a fair amount of garbage littering the property; cigarette butts, plastic bags, empty Tim Horton waste, etc. I am retired from middle management in the service industry where I always believed that the condition of your place of business plays a big part in the perception that your customers have of your business as a whole and while I was extremely impressed with the attention I received from your service personnel the same cannot be said for the aesthetics of your dealership. Took my Spark in for recall transmission replacement in July 2020 AC working fine. After work done AC not working and engine overheated as tech did not replace coolant. Truck came with 4 spare keys but found out after the fact that only one of them worked correctly... Did advise the sales guy of the problem expecting that they were going to be helpful... Nope, had to pay an extra 285$ to get a spare key cutted (including the programming that took about an hour). Another glitch happened when the vehicle go delivered.... They took the money while the paperwork wasn't ready... Had to show up the next day and wasn't able to get it plated the same day... Finally, this dealer will be really good to you until they got your money. Would suggest staying away at least when it comes to buying a pre-own vehicle... Thought about rating it 0 stars but it seems 1 is the lowest I can rate. Not usually into posting reviews but I believe this particular case needs to be reported so other can avoid such situations More
Bought a 2019 corolla le on March 16 2020 upon test drive I stated too paul Robertson that the alignment seems off hey said hey would have them look at it before I bought it well I guess they didn't it since I stated too paul Robertson that the alignment seems off hey said hey would have them look at it before I bought it well I guess they didn't it since had two wheel alignments in 5 months with me only putting 2400 klms on the car the back camber is off so bad and the tires that were on the car are shoot after 2400 klms they won't even pass inapection if I needed one and too top it off ita missing the intake plate under the dash found that out when It sucked a plastic bag up thru it and I found it behind the cabin air filter I've reached out too paul Robertson on several occasions too no avail too see what kind of junk they sold me More

Had to get shuttle to appoint and back.. when came back no words of apology or care in the world! I had 4 free oil changes from purchases of vechicle needless to say I’ll pay and get my oil change done else where!!! as well was charged $5.39 for supplies.... are they charging for air? And yes I left my wheel but thing! Wow! Won’t be back for service! More

I bought my Cadillac at O'Regans and refused to go back for servicing there. Now I happily drive to Dartmouth where Mike, the Service Manager, actually cares!!! It turns out Josh does too. So impressed with the customer service. I have had a LOT of problems with my Cadillac over the years and won't be buying it out next year but at least with all the problems Mike has been fantastic and now with Josh on the scene I am looking forward to my next visit!!! More
