Aside from the obvious current issues with the TDI's we have only had one problem with a strange radio foible that we didn't discover until the car was already paid for. we still love the car and hope that any future changes to it's computer do not affect its performance and gas mileage greatly. Superb experience - ease of purchase, excellent service My first contact was with Guy at the St. James VW - at the time I was living in Montreal and looking to purchase a vehicle for my move to Manitoba. I My first contact was with Guy at the St. James VW - at the time I was living in Montreal and looking to purchase a vehicle for my move to Manitoba. I had looked into different brands/models, settling on the VW Golf TDI 6-speed sportswagon. While different dealers were unable to find the car I wanted, Guy did the sleuthing and landed just the car - while I wasn't able to lock down the purchase in person until I had moved to Manitoba, Guy did everything to make it a seamless transition. Since then, Guy and the team at St. James has facilitated routine maintenance with flexible timing with my trips from Dauphin, MB, as well as excellent courtesy shuttle service to the nearby Winnipeg International Airport.
