Why I gave this dealership a second chance 20 years ago we bought a vehicle from St. Albert Dodge. It was the worst purchasing experience we'd ever experienced both before and after. The servic 20 years ago we bought a vehicle from St. Albert Dodge. It was the worst purchasing experience we'd ever experienced both before and after. The service department was beyond horrendous and although we lived 10 minutes from the St. Albert Dodge Dealership we would take our vehicle to an Edmonton dealership to be serviced. We simply refused to provide this company with any of our business. We could not support a business who treated it's customers so horribly. We swore off ever so much as stepping foot into this business again. Well, let me tell you why we changed our minds. After a long day of car shopping, always an exhausting experience, we were very frustrated. We had seen it all, salesmen refusing to give us a price on a vehicle until we test drove it, showing us vehicles we couldn't afford, $10,000 over our budget. Attempting to "lure" us into a sale with a free I-pad (I could care less about an I-pad, I am looking for a vehicle) trying to give us a "free" warranty to buy a car that had a burning rubber smell when driving it, having to walk through a cloud of smoke as 4-5 salesman smoked huddled around the door to the building **cough - name of dealership removed because this site wouldn't let me post their name here - despite their very unprofessional actions cough** (disgusting) to the infamous "just make me an offer" ploy. I don't want gimmicks when I am buying a car, I don't want to barter and negotiate. I know what these vehicles are selling for, We did our research....there is such a thing as the internet now. As a consumer I did my homework before I even stepped out the door. I know what a good deal is and what a good deal isn't and my friends none of the above were offering me anything but gimmicks and sales lures. As we drive home through St. Albert, we saw St. Albert Dodge. I knew that had the vehicle we were looking for but there is no way I was going to deal with that business because of our past experience with them. Then I saw the sign..."new owners" and we thought ok let's check them out. We walked into the dealership, we were not "accosted" by a salesmen but we did get service within a minute of walking in the door. The salesman, Mo (Mohammed Nazeel) heard what we were looking for. He was the FIRST salesmen to actually try to help us rather then try to "sell" us a vehicle I know it may seem like the same thing to you, but it is in fact two very different selling techniques. We got more information from him in the shortest amount of time. He looked at different options for us and when those options didn't pan out and we were looking at a the only vehicle on the lot that suited us but it was out of our price range. We were making a cash deal so he said to us "let me to talk to my manger and see what our best cash deal is" There was no haggling, no bartering. When he came back with his best cash deal, we knew it was a good deal. (like I said we did our homework before we left the house) Although it was over budget we bought the vehicle. We decided to go a bit over budget for two reasons, 1) it was a very good deal and 2) I felt like this salesman was honest with us from the moment we met him. He never tried to sell us something we didn't want or couldn't afford, there was no pressure at all and no gimmicks. It felt like we were dealing with a salaried employee and not a commissioned sales person. After the manager (Braden - I apologize if I got the name wrong) came over to explain the changes they are making to the dealership and their new customer service philosophy. So far I am very impressed with what I see and with my experience. I haven't used the service department yet but I am confident their new philosophy with filter down through all departments. In a few years when it is time to replace our second vehicle I will be heading straight to St. Albert Dodge. Thank you St. Albert Dodge for (the first time ever) making a vehicle purchase a pleasant experience. More

OUT STANDING MANAGER MY FAMILY AND I CAME TO THE CITY TO BUY SOMETHING NEW, ST ALBERT DODGE WAS ON THE WAY TO TOWN FOR WE STOPPED THERE, THE STORE WAS VERY BUSY, AND ALL T MY FAMILY AND I CAME TO THE CITY TO BUY SOMETHING NEW, ST ALBERT DODGE WAS ON THE WAY TO TOWN FOR WE STOPPED THERE, THE STORE WAS VERY BUSY, AND ALL THE SALES PEOPLE WERE WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS, ONE OF THE SALES MANAGERS DERRICK DUPIS TOOK THE TIME TO HELP US WHILE HE SEEMED TO BE THE ONLY MANAGER WORKING THAT DAY, HE WAS ABLE TO HELP US PICK OUT WHAT WE WANTED AND EXPLAIN ALL THE FEATURES AND SAFTEY ITEMS WHICH WERE INPORTANT WITH OUR KIDS, HE LET US TAKE THE JEEP OUT FOR A FEW HOURS AND WHEN WE CAME BACK HE WAS ABLE TO WORK WITH US ON THE NUMBERS AND CONTROL HIS LINEUP OF SALES PEOPLE AT HIS DESK AND STILL MEET OUR NEEDS! AND THEN AFTER HE WORKED OUT A GREAT DEAL THERE FINANCE DEPARTMENT WAS BACK UP, HE SENT MY FAMILY AND I TO BOSTON PIZZA WHERE THEY PAID OUR LUNCH UNTIL FINANCE WAS ABLE TO SEE US!! BEST PLACE TO BUY, AND THE NICEST AND MOST PROFESSIONAL SALES MANAGER DERRICK I HAD EVERY HAD AND I HAVE BOUGHT 12 IN MY LIFE TIME! GREAT JOB DERRICK More
