Very helpful, great to deal with. We were searching for a particular used vehicle and found the only one on Alberta at Southtown Hyundai. Price was reasonable and the staff were great, We were searching for a particular used vehicle and found the only one on Alberta at Southtown Hyundai. Haneef was pleasant to deal with and even held the car for us without a deposit, as we had to drive in from out of town and wanted to be sure the car was there after a 5 hour drive, which was awesome. Low pressure sales, freindly hard working staff, very happy. My old car died and I still owed a bundle on it. I needed another vehicle but my credit was not so good after a disability leave from work two years ago. The staff worked diligently for 10 days finding a vehicle that would work and a bank approval I could afford. They got me exactly what I hoped for on the vehicle I needed, no other dealer could / would do the work to get me approved. They were so confident they could get it done they let me keep the vehicle for the 10 days while they worked the banks and such, After having a few bad experiences at other dealerships, being mislead and down right lied to, dealing with South Town Hyundai was a breath of fresh air, they treat you with dignity and respect. More

Lacking in customer service Working with this dealership has been a disappointment from the get go but the last interaction that I had with them was by far the worst. I received Working with this dealership has been a disappointment from the get go but the last interaction that I had with them was by far the worst. I received a recall notice in the mail so I contacted the dealership to book a service appointment. During the conversation, the guy asked if I would be interested in getting a new car if they would give me an excellent deal on my trade in. My response was "sure"....who wouldn't want to get a new car if they would give you tons of cash for your old one? This meant that he supplied my information to one of the sales people for them to contact me. Clearly these departments don't speak to each other at all, because I was contacted separately from the sales department and they wanted to know when I wanted to come in. I explained that I was not willing to take an extra trip in, I would only come in while my servicing was getting done. The first thing they told me was that don't start as early as I was coming in so special arrangements would have to be made to accommodate me. Then I had two separate people contacting me for the appointment and I did manage to explain to one of them that I was under the weather and really didn't feel like talking about getting a new car that day. He clearly did not talk to his associate and a week later I received a text message asking if I wanted to come in again. When I explained that I wasn't really interested in getting a new vehicle, the sales guy stated that I probably shouldn't pretend to be interested if I really wasn't and proceeded to argue with me about how to properly conduct myself. I also explained to him that I had had some seriously poor customer service from the dealership on the day of my recall service and that I would not consider buying another vehicle from this dealership because of it. (On the day of the recall, they told me that I could get a loaner vehicle, then when I got there, they said my car would be ready within an hour and a half if I chose to wait instead. I chose to wait. It was ready after 4 hours. I had to go back to the service area and ask when my vehicle would be ready and the service technician said "oh, it is ready" but didn't bother to call me or let me know.) This dealership seriously needs to work on communication and good customer service skills. It is the little things that will keep people coming back. More
