I just previously had gone to another dealership where they had a sale and had spent 3 hrs ending up with nothing and being very frustrated. I have purchased from Southside before and should have returned to begin with for my current vehicle search. Salesman was awesome, he found a suitable vehicle within minutes. Finance guy Kyle was excellent, he dealt with our applications professionally and even though it was after closing, he didn't rush to get us out so he could go home. I would definitely refer someone to come here. More

Southside has told me I'm on my own, no loaner car. The van has shut off twice, thankfully in non life threatening situations, but if it happened in an intersection, my whole family could have been killed. Shame on you Southside Dodge, and shame on you Chrysler Canada who were as equally unhelpful. More

Poor service Terrible service! I went in with my brand new jeep because of a leak. I was told that the windshield washer pan was cracked and it was under warrrenty Terrible service! I went in with my brand new jeep because of a leak. I was told that the windshield washer pan was cracked and it was under warrrenty and replaced. The next day, I was out of washer fluid again and quickly noted that the top off leaked right out of the reservoir. Brought the jeep back and they replaced it as they said the repair did not hold? The day prior I was told the reservoir had been replaced. Then I took the jeep back for a service and I was convinced into a piece of mind inspection. I specifically asked for a rotation with the service and was informed that rotations were part of this. When I got a call back later about the jeep I was told that they needed to perform some tests on the vehicle but were not able to explain what the tests were for and why they were needed. $500 later for a service the tires were never rotated and there was little oil in the jeep making me question the validity of the work done. Messages were left for the service manager and my calls were never returned. I rely very heavily on my vehicle and can not have it repaired in a place that treats people this way. More
misleading sales tactics They had a big sales promo going on when I was looking for a new Jeep, so I thought I'd check them out having already done a lot of research. Long st They had a big sales promo going on when I was looking for a new Jeep, so I thought I'd check them out having already done a lot of research. Long story short- they remove the factory window sticker and put a big "SALE!" Sign on the windshield and list their vehicles at about $2500 over MSRP. Sale price? Needless to say I went elsewhere. A company whose business plan is to gouge their customers unless called on it won't get my business. Found out later they have a terrible reputation within the local Jeep community. More
My wife purchased her Caliber here before we were dating/married and had always had it serviced here. Last year, we took it in to replace worn bushings. Ten months later, the front bushings were alr dating/married and had always had it serviced here. Last year, we took it in to replace worn bushings. Ten months later, the front bushings were already worn again. They weren't exactly forthcoming on whether or not they'd be covered under a repair warranty. Finally got it out of them that IF it were the bushings, then yes it would be. Car was dropped off in the morning. By early afternoon, we were told that there were no problems with the bushings, but that we needed to drop $5000 for a new transmission. They told us it was an issue with the CVT discs that they'd only ever seen once before ever in the history of that model. We were told they'd "run some tests" and taken it around the block to determine this. We weren't told what tests were run, or how the very obvious sound of a worn front bushing to the front right of the vehicle was really a hard to discern transmission issue in the front/middle. We took the car to the highest rated independent transmission place in town, as well as the other Dodge dealership. Both placed agreed that the only problem needing repair was the front bushing. Neither could find this mysterious "once in a blue moon" transmission issue, nor any other issue that would indicate anything was wrong with it. Southside maintained it was the transmission. I'd rate them worse than very bad if I could for customer service, quality of work, overall experience and price. The only good thing was the lady at the service desk who booked us in for the initial look at the bushing. She was very helpful. The rest of the repair staff, obviously not so much. Obviously, they were looking for a way around the repair warranty for the previous bushing work and came up with this doozy. Lying about needed repairs to customers, being uncommunicative about repair warranties, and not explaining any of their tests/diagnostics to give any good reason why they came up with what they did.
