We were looking for something that would be good for the winter, we could grow into and wouldn't cost us a fortune. We got in contact with Colten and over a few text messages he knew exactly what we wanted. He found us our Cherokee, it has everything we want plus more. Our experience was wonderful! Colten was great to us through the whole process. When we got to the dealership we also dealt with Kyle. Kyle was so easy to work with he answered all our questions and made the financing part of our buy so stress free for us. Kyle was very personable and took care of everything for us! For a first time buyer and very anxious person, working with Colten and Kyle made my experience so wonderful. I felt like I was completely understood and was not afraid to ask my millions of questions because I knew they would answer them all for me. It was a great experience. I would recommend Colten and Kyle to anyone! I am so happy with our vehicle it's been over a month and I still haven't stopped smiling! More
Southside sold me a truck with a defective engine Bought a “Certified” used Ram 2500 crew cab hemi 4x4 from Southside Dodge with full factory warranty; perfect “Mechanical Fitness Assessment”; even a Bought a “Certified” used Ram 2500 crew cab hemi 4x4 from Southside Dodge with full factory warranty; perfect “Mechanical Fitness Assessment”; even a $2000 Southside service contract. Starting in Feb. 2016, the engine light started coming on. When serviced by another dealership in Edmonton, they repeatedly found the air filter was soaked in oil, and this happened again in June and July 2016. When they took the engine apart, it was determined that the engine had been “dusted”, and this had occurred before I purchased it. I tried working with Chrysler to get it fixed, and filed a complaint with Chrysler against Southside, but they said it was a dealer problem not a factory problem; and that the warranty was void. Southside has been unwilling to fix the truck or admit any fault. (In September 2016, they did quote me $11,000 to replace the engine). Bottom line: Don’t buy a vehicle from Southside Dodge. More

After a short drive thru the lot a salesman came up with a big smile and asked what brought us into the dealership today. I let him know i was just looking around. "Great" he said, we all have to start somewhere. The salesman was really nice up to this point and we decided to pull up and go into the store. When we walked in we were greeted by what smelled like freshly popped popcorn. We sat down after getting some popcorn and went thru some different options and scenarios for our lifestyle. After about 20 min or so we had narrowed what seemed like an ocean of trucks, down to a couple that we really liked and would fit our payments. After comparing new and used we decided to purchase a new truck, because of the great interest rate and the way the payments came in we were thrilled. I had not really planned on buying a truck that day, but it was just such an overwhelmingly great experience I decided to make this my new place to get a truck. I sure hope I win the 10,000 dollars, I know 2 people in red deer that have won! Its the real deal. More

We were shown a 26 for trailer that we agreed would be great for us (bunks for our 3 and 5 year old daughters!), and all that was wrong was some superficial hail damage. We agreed on the price, declined the warranty, and said we had a truck but none of the hardware to tow it so to sell us what we needed. When my wife went to sign the paperwork they were super friendly, but blindsided her with over $3500 worth of warranty and service fees that we had not agreed to and had already declined with our salesman. I called and complained and to their credit they did redo the contract removing everything we had not agreed to without too much of a fight, they sure weren't friendly though. The next day we went to pick up our trailer and our salesman wouldn't even come out and say hello. My kids were disappointed because he had given them balloons before. Anyway, the walkthrough went okay, except for the following: 1: I said the tires looked low, but the technician blew me off. I checked at home and they were all below 20psi (two were below 15) 2: The propane tank cover was missing and I had to show a picture of the unit to prove it was supposed to come with the cover 3: They didn't have any of the tow stuff ready for us because they assumed I had my own. I had to show my paperwork saying we had paid over $500 for a tow kit. The techs stated acting like it was my fault that they didn't know I didn't have any of that stuff We took the trailer out camping two days later. Soon after I opened up the water inlet to fill the hot water tank I noticed water had started to leak all over the floor from under the cabinets. I took off the panels and found the hot water tank had a huge crack in it. I'm assuming it wasn't winterized and wound up cracking. That really made me freak out, but I figured I'd just call and deal with the dealership when I got home. Later that day I climbed up on the roof to have a look at everything (including the new bathroom vent cover they had installed), and I couldn't believe what I saw: two hammers that had clearly been sitting up there for a while because they were all rusted (as was the roof underneath them). They were about two feet from the front of the trailer. If I'd been going down the highway and had to slam on the brakes for some reason they would have more likely than not flown off the roof and through the back window of my truck where my two little girls were sitting with the family dog. IT'S SO LUCKY NO ONE GOT HURT OR WORSE! Between the unsafely low tire pressure and the hammers left on the roof I am furious. I feel like since we declined the warranty they felt like it was okay to be completely negligent towards our safety and not even bother with the absolute basics. What if I was picking it up and driving it all the way straight to Lethbridge down the highway with the tires that low? I probably would have had a blowout, and hopefully nothing more. Unbelievable.
