Hi Art I responded to you on facebook as well the reason I was pissed off is because I called before I drove out there and talked to the girl in finance. I gave her my information and she looked it up. She told me that my tire was covered under the road hazard warranty. I expected that because if you buy four tires from a place like costco you get the warranty too. I work out in Morinville, I figured that if the tire is covered it might be worth the drive. I drove home to St Albert to get the tire and then all the way to Sherwood park. Even though Canadian tire did not have stock, they could have had it the next day or Trail Tire had stock. When I got there the service people told me the tire is not covered. I went upstairs to find out what is happening. she talked to one person after the other and nobody had the time to talk to me. When she finally got back to me to tell me I have to pay for the tire the quote she gave me was for $274 plus $34 install. I told her that Canadian tire had the same tire for $188. She talked to the parts guy who said they will match it if I get it in writing. After more time wasted and giving him the quote in writing he said he will not match it, it is below his cost and he will not lose money. I told him that I feel ripped off. I took the tire to service and told them to fix it since My wife is stuck at home with two kids and cannot drive the Van. That is when the lower quote came over and I was told that it is only a bit more that Canadian tire. This is also after almost 2.5 hours. To add to all this, when I got home and installed the tire, two of the bolts snapped off, I did not even use an impact driver, this is just with the tire leaver, so I had to drive to Kingsway Toyota to get that dealt with as well. The bottom line is, nobody took any responsibility for their scewup and then did not even want to compensate for the scewup by matching a price. So what if you lost $30 on the tire, I lost 4 hours of work that I have to make up for plus my gas. I spent a lot of money there and don't expect to be treated this way because I did not buy the extended warranty. In business, when you make a mistake, you take ownership of it and you make it right! Even if it costs you money....

That I will address with my staff as I expect more from them than not provide customers with the correct information. To compensate you for your inconvenience I am prepared to give you $100.00 credit in my service and parts department for you to use at your leisure. please let me know if that is acceptable.
