I was in search of a 2024-2025 Toyota Sienna and had been for quite some time. I am sure a lot of you know how hard they are to find. I looked everywhere and most dealerships minimum 10 month wait but likely for quite some time. I am sure a lot of you know how hard they are to find. A salesman named Zade answered and said while they did have it, it was spoken for. I told him no problem I will continue with my search but he then told me he could guarantee me one by February 2025. As this was early October at the time I said "Absolutely!". He said if I provide a deposit he would guarantee it. I told him that if he was lying to me I would report the dealership to AMVIC for false advertisement and luring. He agreed and still guaranteed it. I placed the deposit and waited a few days without receiving the receipt for the deposit. I called in and had to ask for one and I asked the manager I spoke to if the guarantee was true and he said yes if the salesman said yes then it's a yes. I was very happy at this point. The months go by and Zade kept in touch the entire time saying that I would have my vehicle by the time February arrives. He was very good at keeping in touch about it. Fast forward to 1st week of January. I asked Zade if we were still on track and he said we were. Fast forward to 3rd week of January and I asked him again....no response. Then someone named Jihan messages me and said the dealership would inform me 30-60 days before my sienna was set to arrive. I informed he/her that this was not the deal and I would be forced to file the complaint. I then recieved a call from a manager I think who had informed me that they never make those guarantees and Zade no longer works there. He said they do not teach their staff to pull those tactics. As someone who has made the mistake to be a car salesman before, trust me they do use these tactics. It worked too because we stopped looking for another car for those months. I told him I would have no choice then and would continue with the complaint. Do not trust these people, run away! More

I bought a new car 2018 Camry. Which gave me 5 year warranty/60000km . After 5 year and relatively low mileage ( 62000 km ) , my car started having serious transmission problems a Which gave me 5 year warranty/60000km . I towed it to the dealership and they diagnosed my car with transmission failure and need to replace it, which will cost me over 5k .I called the Toyota where i purchased my car and she said they wont me able to help me with the cost or warranty .It was clear they didn’t value my business. Save yourself the hassle and go to a dealership that actually cares about its customers! More

Not dealing in good faith of two vehicle purchases I made. I waited 5 months only to get told both orders were cancelled and replaced with 2025 models .Then told by salesman steve I would have to pay mo made. Throughout the ordeal my emails were frequently ignored and Chris manager always made me wait to ask questions. Salesman are not needed there because they know very little and don’t know how to get any requested info. Dealership is poorly managed when they chase paying customers away with no info and lazy attitudes. More
My experience with Toyota Sherwood has been incredibly frustrating, particularly with their financial department. The level of service provided was shockingly poor. Communication was almost nonexistent, with phone calls going unanswered for extended periods. When responses were finally received, they were vague and unhelpful, offering no clarity or assistance. The lack of responsiveness and support from the financial department is unacceptable and reflects a serious lack of professionalism. If you value efficient and reliable service, I would strongly advise considering other dealerships. Toyota Sherwood’s financial team has a long way to go in improving their customer service. More
