I am a first time buyer and I was looking for a new 2012 vehicle. I have been to numerous dealers in Edmonton in the last week and I have had some decisions to make about purchasing a vehicle. I had troubles with a dealer and decided to try Sherwood Park Toyota, who I was told had excellent customer service. Once at Toyota, I was approached by a salesman, Ryan Matiushyk, who right away asked me if I needed any help. Ryan wasn't pushy in any way but I didn't have to walk around the dealer almost begging for someone to help me and finally get service. Through my experiences with salesman at other dealers Ryan seemed a lot more helpful and friendly. Ryan told me at the start he is a straight shooter and will tell me exactly what I will get and what he can do for me with my purchase. No Secrets! I was looking to buy a 2012 Rav4 Base Model. Ryan put all his effort into getting me the right deal with the things I wanted. He got the payments where I wanted, 0% Financing, upgraded package and overall an awesome first vehicle purchase experience. Throughout this whole sale, Ryan never gave me a price/accessory that he couldn't commit to. He changed my thoughts of salesman and showed that Customer Service is the most important in any sale. I highly recommend Sherwood Park Toyota to anyone looking for a vehicle and who wants great customer service and a great shopping experience. Ryan is definitely a straight forward, friendly and helpful salesman and I would highly recommend him when looking for a vehicle at Sherwood Park Toyota. He makes sure you leave happy, know exactly what you got for your money and puts every ounce of effort into each sale. I went to Sherwood Park Toyota on a whim to see what new cars were available. From the moment I walked through the front door, I felt I was in control of whether or not I decided to buy a car. I have been looking for a new vehicle for the last two year. With a hectic schedule I do not have many weekends to go car hunting. Numerous dealership I check out did not listen to what I need. All the other dealership tried to do the pressure sales tactics and keep telling me that the deal is only good till end off the day. But not Tommy at Sherwood park Toyota. He asked me what is important to me and my family and what I am buying the vehicle for. At this point I have no idea it took me two years just to think off a vehicle I might want. Tommy asked me try what I might like and want and we can go from there. I tried out many vehicle and end up choosing a 4runner. I mention to Tommy I need a few day to think about this investment and he should call me back in 4 days to serif I am still interested. Sure enough Tommy call me back in 4 days and asked me in one more time to test drive the 4runner. I was weary about I might be pressure sale by Tommy when after my test drive but I was mistaken. Tommy took care off me accordingly and was very professional with all my questions and concern. It took me 2 years for some salesperson to WOW me and actually listen to my needs instead of the salesperson want. This is the biggest reason why I recommend Tommy and the Sherwood park Toyota team to any one who is looking to purchase a vehicle. Once again thank you Tommy for the 4runnet that my family enjoy. I am giving this dealership 5/5 stars because out of the last 6 times we had purchased a vehicle. This is the best experience we had ever had!!! The managers and financial people were very polite and we did not feel like we were going to get hit with some hidden fees at the end or pressured into spending another few thousands.
