Ever get the speech from a salesman when you are shopping for a truck and its close to month end and they would really like to sell you a truck before month end to help with their numbers? This was the speec for a truck and its close to month end and they would really like to sell you a truck before month end to help with their numbers? This was the speech I received from Vince M. Well being that I was shopping for a truck and they happened to have one for sale I said I would gladly help, but the catch was Vince was not willing to get me the window sticker so I had no idea what the MSRP was. Because of the current market I knew I was going to pay full MSRP and I was completely ok with paying MSRP but not a penny more which is what I had told him several times, so he reassured me I wouldn't be paying over MSRP. So I went ahead and signed the papers and paid cash for the truck, but the weird part was I was still not given any documentation on what the MSRP of the truck was, this was after asking a hand full of times over a few weeks. To my surprise I was lied to, the actual trucks MSRP was 101,000 and they sold it to me at 106,000. I was then given the line that it was Chevrolet that marked it up 5000 not the dealership, so I called one of my good friends at another Chevrolet dealer and he informed me that Chevrolet had not put a price increase on these trucks in five months and their dealership is completely unaware of this surcharge from Chevrolet, and also keep in mind that this truck just landed roughly a month ago, and my friend also informed me that the window sticker would most definitely reflect the price increase, which this one does not. Morale of the story here is, don't ever do anything here on a handshake, the days of being able to trust anyone if it isn't on paper is long gone. Sad thing is I was getting all of my personal and work vehicles serviced here as I really like their lube bay, and most of my vehicles are fords! To think I had also put my name on a 2023 High Country here, but not any longer. Off to Sherwood Park GMC or Northgate Chevrolet where they show you the MSRP and can be trusted. I can't say enough in regards to the superior business that was provided, in every aspect of my experience with this dealership! The fact I chose to bring my business over 950 kms away from home should sa that was provided, in every aspect of my experience with this dealership! Which by the way, they were so accomodating and generous, the costs ro travel that direction were covered by them!! Purchasing a vehicle in general can be a stressful and intimidating event, but thanks to the honest, caring and helpful nature of Ethan Marsden, it was an easy breezy, hassle-free transaction that had me feeling totally confident and satisfied with my vehicle purchase. Rana and Gavin in finance were so awesome to work with, super friendly and proper..(not a wordthat comes to mind when talking about a car dealership. Hands down I would recommend Sherwood Park Chev to anyone, near or far. I'm sure once you've experience1²d the quality of their services and incredible hospitality, you'll eagerly become part of the Sherwood family too and put your trust in them to take care of all your (and your friends' and family's) future vehicle needs. I usually deal with Pike Wheaton in Red Deer as they are amazing, however with the vehicle shortage I decided to expand my search. I contacted the Sherwood Park Chevrolet, made an apt to see a specific car amazing, however with the vehicle shortage I decided to expand my search. I contacted the Sherwood Park Chevrolet, made an apt to see a specific car the next day. Drive and hour and a half to find out the car isn't even on the lot because they loaned it out. Then decided okay maybe I will give them a chance to run numbers anyways, and I can get a nicer newer car for less everywhere else, and trade in my car for $6,000 more at a local dealership. More
