To summarize the reason for your initial visit, you had concerns regarding a check engine light, power steering issues, missing serpentine belts, a worn belt tensioner, and an oil pressure sensor major fluid leak. We understand that relying solely on a customer's description of the problem may be an attempt to save money on diagnostic services. Our initial technician's diagnosis revealed that the missing belts caused the fans and water pump to cease functioning properly, leading to overheating. Some of the necessary repairs we recommended were completed with your approval, while others that were also needed were declined due to your budgetary limitations.  We would like to acknowledge and express our gratitude for your positive feedback in texts about our Service Advisor, whom you commended in communications with him with a deservedly perfect score of 5. He made efforts to assist you in finding a helpful way to pay for the repairs. Subsequently, you informed us that the vehicle was still experiencing overheating issues even after some of the repairs had been carried out. We understand the significance of accurate diagnostics, and thus, we extended an invitation for you to bring your vehicle back to our facility for further investigation into the related overheating problem. It is not uncommon for certain issues to require additional diagnosis that may not be immediately evident during the initial assessment. Please note that any subsequent related diagnostic work needed is conducted at no additional charge. We deeply apologize if there were any misunderstandings in our communication with you through texts or phone calls. Your loyalty to the Ford brand is highly valued, and we are delighted to hear that you still hold your Ford vehicle dear to your heart. We genuinely appreciate your understanding and the opportunity you have given us to enhance our service. I was DIRECTLY tools that it would be another 195 an hour to find out why it was still overheating, the basic diagnostic rate. The declined services were all related to suspension, breaks and CV boots...not one of those things would result in my car overheating. Yes, I gave Cristan 5 stars, he was good with communicating and at that time I did not know my car was still going to overheat. I thought it had been fixed and after all I paid for diagnostics and work I could not afford to do brakes and axels. As a single mom I was relying on a fair and thurough understanding of why it had no power steering and was overheating. Now I do since taking it elsewhere, I just hope you do better by others in the future. Kind regards, Michelle.

We promise you that whenever a customer needs to have further diagnosis related to an ongoing concern, such as overheating, the initial diagnosis charge covers any further investigation needed into resolving a related issue. If the issue was unrelated, then there would be an additional diagnosis fee. We do understand why you declined some of the service recommendations. But it was not necessary for you to take it elsewhere as we would have honoured our service agreement. It is not uncommon for certain issues to require additional diagnosis that may not be immediately evident during the initial assessment.
