Additionally, our climate cont I brought my 2011 Chevy Cruze in for service because the vehicle had a number of recalls that needed to be dealt with. Additionally, our climate control system stopped working completely - a necessary feature in the winter! I took the car in and there was no initial issues. Later that afternoon, Kristen called saying that during the work, the mechanic noticed some other problems that needed to be fixed. Not knowing anything about cars and thinking that these things sounded pretty serious, I said go ahead and fix them (even after hearing that it would cost $1500 - 90% of which would be labor costs. Yikes! Why is labor so expensive??). An hour later I talked to my partner about it, since he knows a lot more about cars than I do. He wasn't sure that some of the repairs were really needed, so he called back at 2:45 PM and spoke to Kristen to get more information. After some discussion, we decided that we didn't want some of the repairs done. Kristen said that the mechanic hadn't started the particular repairs yet, so she would put a "stop work" order in for them, which would cut our $1500 bill in half. Great, no problem. Additionally, we asked her to take a photo of the problem (a leak) and e-mail it to us so that we could assess the severity of the leak. About 40 minutes later, we got an e-mail with the photo. When we go to pick up the car the next day, we were charged $1500. Thinking there must be some mistake, we ask to talk to Kristen, who had been there, but then suddenly (conveniently?) had to drive to the Regina dealership. We were told she was on her way to Regina so we couldn't call her - however, all Sherwood employee cars have Bluetooth so we convinced the manager to call her. When we got ahold of her to ask why were being charged for work we didn't want done. Kristen said that she went to put a stop work order in, but when she did, the mechanic had already completed all the work, and so they had to charge us. BUT WAIT.... We called her at 2:45 PM and got a photo of the problem part in question 40 minutes later - UNFIXED. So how could the work have been completed before we called if they had sent us a photo 40 minutes later?? After a lengthy discussion with the service manager regarding our disappointment and the need for transparency and honesty, he only agreed to knock of $350 from our bill. So we still ended up paying $300 for services that we specifically asked not to have. Super disappointed - not about the actual service on the car, but about the fact that Sherwood employees were being dishonest. Also - labour costs are xxxxxx ridiculous. I think we only paid $100 for actual parts. Everything else was labour. I will find a different place to service my car in the future. More

Folks do yourself a favour just dont buy any car from Sherwood. More

My sales guy took the time to listen to what I needed and recommended a Cruze that I wanted. I didn't want a bunch of the fancy stuff as it is a commuter car and they listened to that and didn't try and push me towards a more expensive vehicle. More
Decent place to buy a used car I have purchased 2 used vehicles from this dealer over the last few years and my Father has purchased 3, in all cases we were treated with respect and I have purchased 2 used vehicles from this dealer over the last few years and my Father has purchased 3, in all cases we were treated with respect and given a fair price with fair financing. The Finance mangers are little stubborn when pushing extended warranties and other extras to tack on but they never crossed the line and always showed respect for me and my Father. I cannot speak about the service side because I never used them. More

After an hour of waiting the person from the service counter told me that the mechanics were in a meeting and they would be starting the oil change shortly. I asked them to call once the job was complete, and they never did. When I went to leave I found the plastic left on the seat and paper left on the floor mat. More
The Worst Kind of Old School Car Sales A deliberately "old school' sales experience where the salesman makes the visit all about price from the word go. I hadn't been on the lot for more th A deliberately "old school' sales experience where the salesman makes the visit all about price from the word go. I hadn't been on the lot for more than five minutes when the salesman came out and pressed me on what I wanted for my trade - I get that sales people need to qualify a prospect but this set things down poorly from the very start. They deliberately gave me an insultingly low ball price on my trade because I didn't tell them what I wanted for the trade - they used what in sales is called a "shock and awe" tactic to get a number out of me. I knew what my trade was worth because I have access to the same black book they receive every two weeks - they showed a trade value so low that it was only $9K more than dealers would give for the most dented up, rusted piece of crap a person could show up with on their lot. My car is a 2013 with 30000 KM on it. The car is immaculate. The book value is between 13 K on the low end and 15K on the high end. They said it was 11K. Jaw droppingly insulting service. I would recommend anyone to avoid this place. It is a plague-infested with bad customer service and insulting sales staff. More

Later I discovered that Took my vehicle in as the front passenger door was hard to open. They called to tell me it was fixed and I could pick it up. Later I discovered that I could no longer open the front passenger door from the inside. After talking to the service adviser, he was unable or unwilling to offer an explanation of what happened, was unable to offer me a rental car while they fixed their mistake - I would have to wait a week or more for a courtesy car, and was just generally rude. I've rebooked the repair with another dealer in town, and will never set foot in Sherwood again. More
Very Disappointed I had brought my Envoy in because it was shaking violently. I decided to go with the option of replacing my engine with a used engine. I was aware of I had brought my Envoy in because it was shaking violently. I decided to go with the option of replacing my engine with a used engine. I was aware of the cost so I won't say I was mislead in that way, HOWEVER, when I picked up my vehicle and asked about taking the old engine home (my dad wanted it for parts) I had to stand there for 15 minutes while they tried to find an answer for me. I was told that the bin it was put in was dumped and they had "no idea" I wanted the engine. As professionals that is their job to ASK me and not make assumptions. They didn't reattach my command start. One of my biggest complaints is that this was almost $7000 by the time diagnosis and repairs were done and they couldn't be bothered to detail my vehicle for me. I get that it isnt a necessity, however, it sure would have helped with the sting of that bill. In speaking with friends, many have recieved a complimentary detailing when their bills were as low as $2000 at other places. When I asked my dad to speak to the service manager about this on my behalf, she hung up the phone on him. I am very disappointed in the quality of customer service and even more annoyed because I'm constantly getting emails from them about this event and that event aimed at customer appreciation. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to another person. I expect respect and a little bit of caring and none of this was shown to me. More
I was very impressed by every part of the service I received at Sherwood. The service advisors were great and kept me fully informed as (substantial) repairs were done on my car. The quote I received w received at Sherwood. The service advisors were great and kept me fully informed as (substantial) repairs were done on my car. The quote I received was exactly what I paid and everyone from the service manager to the mechanic listened to me when I told them what my issues and concerns were. After the nightmare of dealing with some service places in the city going to Sherwood was a very pleasant surprise. More
