Disappointing oil change experience I have always taken my car to this dealership for oil changes, but after today's experience I am going to think twice about coming back. The actual oil change I am sure was fine - aside from them replacing the cabin air filter which apparently my boyfriend told me he changed only last year - they insisted it was very dirty. And aside from charging me extra for labour to top up my washer fluid which nobody asked them to do and which i could have easily done myself if it wasn't included in the price. But the most frustrating part was discovering that one of the mechanics that was working on my car stole $3 in change that I kept there for parking. The change slot was completely full and had exactly $10 in loonies and twonies which I always keep there. So I am guessing the mechanic thought that if he took $3 I would not notice. Dear mechanic: the change is there for me to use for parking when I need it not for you to help yourself to. If you need extra money get another job instead of stealing other people money. I would never expect this from a Nissan dealership. Customers - don't leave any money in your car when you bring it in for service - it seems to magically disappear while in Nissan's possession. More

I really liked Alex's style and straight talk when it came to buying the car. We had a couple issues when I came back to sign all the papers. I would say that things were handle well by Alex, but didn't appreciate the involvement of Junior Timothee. This comment is not directed to Alex, but more about the buying and negotiating process. I get the car buying process is about the sales rep handling the client and then working through the manager and finance folks to land the deal. However there must be a better way to handle this process. Maybe once the offer has been close to completed the manager and finance folks all sit down with client to land the final deal. More

Great Service Department I brought in my car to sherway because I was having trouble with my navigation system which another dealership couldn't fix for me. Not only did they fix it, but the time their technician took to diagnose the problem was within an hour. The other dealership had my car for 2 days and they said they couldn't fix it. Many mix-ups, then finally solution I have owned 6 Nissan vehicles and up until recently have had no problem. I had been using Sherway dealership often for check-ups, oil changes, etc. I have owned 6 Nissan vehicles and up until recently have had no problem. I had been using Sherway dealership often for check-ups, oil changes, etc. and had no problem with these services. But after bringing my Pathfinder to this dealership 4 times and 3 car rentals to have the faulty radio/antenna replaced, it was finally corrected. My car detailing was performed and they did a very good job on that. My disappointment was not only the inconvenience and time consuming 4 trips to the dealership, having to return the car rentals, to finally correct the problem on the 4th trip, but the nonchalant customer service attitude when I returned to the dealership several times. I was not the one in the wrong, and it seemed I was viewed as a nuisance for them having to keep trying to fix their problem. Their apology was short and seemed insincere, even though I lost much time having to keep returning to the dealership to correct their problem. Most of my ratings below are based on the radio issue, not the regular check-ups. More

2017 Maxima purchase My wife and I just bought a new 2017 Nissan Maxima SL. Gary Quan was our salesman and he is really a nice guy. He is very knowledgeable and he got us a great deal. He worked hard for us and manager Curtis was a pleasure to deal with. Finance man Junior was also easy to deal with. Great bunch of guys who made the buying experience for us nice and easy. We are very happy with our new car and highly recommend the team at Sherway Nissan. We will be coming back for service. More

He was very thorough in terms of product knowledge and was able to help point out the key benefits of getting a Nissan vs numerous other competing vehicles. I was surprised at how well versed he was on features of other brands. When I have finally made my choice I will not hesitate to come and make a purchase with Daniel and Sherway Nissan!!! More
