Failed to stand behind their product and work. Terrible experience with the service department. On my 2015 GMC Sierra just over a year ago and approximately 18,000km ago they fixed a known issue wi Terrible experience with the service department. On my 2015 GMC Sierra just over a year ago and approximately 18,000km ago they fixed a known issue with the exhaust system on my vehicle (captured under a service bulletin). The exact same symptoms began again a few weeks ago so I booked it in to be repaired once again, I tried to make the appointment before my 3yr/60K Comprehensive warranty expired but no dates were available so I was forced to book an appointment 3 days after my Comprehensive warranty expired. A reasonable person wouldn't expect an exhaust system to be a part that fails after only 18,000km so I though for sure there'd be no issues with having this fixed properly once and for all and not at my expense. I was wrong and told I'd need to authorize $200/hr diagnostic time and then if they agreed that it was in fact the same part that failed previously they may cover a portion of the replacement part costs. A borderline insulting offer. I wish I could say this was the first time I've had a bad experience with the service department but it wasn't. More
