sean sergeant toyota Vehicle dealership in grande prairie ab me and my wife bought a brand new toyota tundra at this Sean Sargeant toyota dealership, Truck instantly had issues and the dealership REFUSED to fix me and my wife bought a brand new toyota tundra at this Sean Sargeant toyota dealership, Truck instantly had issues and the dealership REFUSED to fix and basically just tell me a bunch of empty promises and when it seems I'm getting some where with them they would never call me back and this is when i talk to the half owner and sales manager Craig Kjemhus. they just told me what i want to here to get me off phone. all i seam to get told is how much they no about trucks and cars and how smart they are but really they no nothing except how to rip people off. they seam to forget that there customers might have drove a vehicle before. Im stuck paying high prices at different repair shops to try to have the issues resolved but getting no where. we spent over 75 grand on this truck and probably a other 30 grand of repairs. the salesman's name was Derek Riddle and due to him just being a idiot and not caring about his customers i started talking to Craig Kjemhus the sales manager and he was just the same just talked smart like i was stupid and told me they were going to take care of it but soon as i got off the phone we would never here from them again. i also tried to talk to sean sergeant himself and he just brushed me off as well. so now i got a 2012 toyota tundra parked for the last 8 months in my yard that if i drive i no its going to break down and cost me money, i can't sell because i can't just sell some one else my problems, so they sold me a 75000 dollar lawn ordement. through my work they pay for my vehicle so i buy a new truck about every 100 to 150 000km and I've delt with a lot of dealerships over the years and sean sargent toyota is by far the worst one yet. they basically just tell you what you want to here and charge you as much money on everything as possible and when you have problems the just ignore you and your stuck with bills. to me its about the people and sean sargent toyota does not have them. worst business I've ever delt with and just for the way i was treated by Craig Kjemhus, Derek Riddle and Sean Sargent i will never do business with this business again. these people are out to get as much money from you as possible and then when you have problems not one of them are of any help at all and turn there back on you. House of Lemons Searched for months for a specific vehicle (Nissan Xterra 6-Speed Manual) and one happened to turn up at this Toyota dealer nearly brand new - 2011 wi Searched for months for a specific vehicle (Nissan Xterra 6-Speed Manual) and one happened to turn up at this Toyota dealer nearly brand new - 2011 with 43000km. I took it for a test drive and the sales guy had absolutely zero knowledge about the vehicle - and couldn't drive a standard. That was a red flag, but being my dream vehicle I put a hold on it and did end up purchasing it. When I test drove it, the check engine light was on as well as the TPMS warning light. I was informed that the check engine light comes on with the TPMS, and that the TPMS was on due to the cold weather. Hard to believe, but I've never owned a newer vehicle with these features. On signing, I had them agree to check into several things with the vehicle as conditions of my purchase: 1. Ensure the check engine light has been assessed and that if there is a problem, fix it. 2. Inform me which tire is low & fix slow leak if applicable. 3. Ensure that the faulty bolt on recall has been replaced on this particular SUV. They agreed and when I picked it up, all warning lights were off and I was shown the work order for the faulty bolt. Great! Unfortunately, the Engine light came on again 10 minutes after leaving. They had closed for the weekend at this point, and when I called the next week I was told to drive it and see if the light went off - if not, bring it in and they will look into it. That's right - the xxxxxxx just reset the code reader and wiped the screen clear without fixing the issue. Thank God for warranty!!! My repair bill would have been nearly $5000 for the EVAP canister being completely clogged with dirt (the reason for the service light), shot front ball joints, leaking struts, malfunctioning TPMS sensors, clogged washer fluid line & seized control arms. There is a massive gouge out of my skid plate which I firmly In a funny twist, the sales team had been replaced between the time of sale and the time that my repairs were done at Nissan. The new manager backed out on his promise to lend me a truck (as I live on a farm) to drive while the Xterra was being repaired. He made no effort to fix his dealership's reputation because he says "It happened before my time so there is nothing I could have done to stop it." That's a horrible excuse. I'm a welder and in my job if the guy before me screwed up & got fired I don't get to tell disappointed customers that "Oh sorry he doesn't work here anymore. Better luck next time!" Would only recommend this dealerxxxx to my worst enemies. More
