Hi Ryan, thank you for the quick response, I appreciate it. I have been dealing with this since I bought the vehicle in 2014, and am on the "oil consumption monitoring" I asked to have the remaining oil measured at my last oil change and this was not done. I hope you can appreciate that I am skeptical about what I am being told. I contacted Subaru Canada in April 2017, and was told to refer to my owners manual 11-10: states that oil consumption is not a problem until it uses "1 liter every 2000km". That is absurd. I was told they would talk to the dealership and get back to me....nobody ever got back to me. I just contacted Subaru Canada again the other day, and was switched from the number I was given for the oil consumption problem to customer service. No human to talk to and when I followed the instructions to leave info for a call back it would not save it. Left another message,,,,and surprise I have not heard anything back. I totally understand that you are under the constraints of Subaru Canada, however that does not help me. I was a Toyota SUV driver for 30 years and thought I would try a Subaru this time. Subaru Canada has lost you a customer, as at this point I would not consider buying another one. Thanks...again I appreciate your reply.
