Honesty is key and dishonesty gets you a bad review I broke down in BC and was towed to Salmon Arm where I trusted the dealership to be honest and help out a stranger, boy was I wrong. My truck had deve I broke down in BC and was towed to Salmon Arm where I trusted the dealership to be honest and help out a stranger, boy was I wrong. My truck had developed a coolant leak and when they diagnosed the problem I was told it would be an 11 hour job, then it turned into a 17 hour job and the part is 3 days away. They told me they had to drop the transmission in order to get at the part, in my opinion I doubt this was ever done. When I received the "old" parts, that had to be searched for as the mechanic, I assume, threw them away even though he knew I wanted them, I found out that the part is actually 2 separate parts, a short piece of rubber hose ( part that split ) and a metal tube. If you replace the metal tube then it is an 11 hour job and the tranny must be dropped, if you replace only the rubber hose it can be done in less than 2 hours and the tranny does not have to be dropped. I was charged 11 hours for this job and when I looked at the metal tube portion of the 2 parts it has never been installed on a truck, it is brand new, in other words I was charged for work never done. Also , in my opinion, the dealership charged me for some of the hours that should have been under warranty for another part that had failed and was replaced under warranty during the same visit. This is all I will say for now even though I disagree with other issues with this dealership. More
