new purchase overall i was pretty impressed with Dan and Jami and his team was a nice effort to help out my wife who recently wrote off her car . My take on the overall i was pretty impressed with Dan and Jami and his team was a nice effort to help out my wife who recently wrote off her car . My take on the leasing agent was poor . He needed to communicate with Dan better . The leasing details weren't correct and although they honored the first month payment they didn't explain the importance of listing my wife as Co lease' . This made it a difficult task to change everything over to my name and change the payment plans etc . I was super impressed that Dan and Jami gave us a extended test drive for my wife .In the absence of the rental that the SGI adjuster messed up on this came in integral on the sale of the Malibu . Recently I purchased a 2010 used Avenger, with -very- low kms. 21000... Impressive find, to be honest. Most cars that age have alot more distance on them and I thought it was a good find. I nitpicked, the kms. 21000... Impressive find, to be honest. Most cars that age have alot more distance on them and I thought it was a good find. I nitpicked, the car was in good shape and I got a fair price. Driving off of the lot, I hit the trip odometer... I didn't even get 30km and the car died outright. The electrical system was fried. I was on a first date at the time, and I had to get her to drive ME home. Embarrased to say the least! The fuse board was completely shot and needed to be replaced. My confidence in my purchase was utterly obliterated at this point. I had to get it towed at midnight, no less...huuuuge inconvenience, utterly stressful. I got set up with a rental as it was still under warranty but I didn't get my car back for a week. I immediately informed the dealer that I'd be enacting my 30 day exchange clause. I looked at a comperable car, a high KM 2011... they weren't willing to come down on the sticker price -at all-. In what world is a 2010 with 22,000 km with $4,400 less than a 2011 RENTAL RETURN with 54,000km!?!? Then came in the business manager to feed me double talk, trying to browbeat me into a sale.... trying to make it sound like this is the best car in the world, blah blah blah. It's like it doesn't even factor in that they sold me a LEMON and they took ZERO responsibility for that. SMP Saskatoon will never see my business again, and I would -STRONGLY- urge you to look elsewhere. More
