Had a knocking on my vehicle and was scheduled for an inspection. I then noticed that there was chunk of ice caught on my drive shaft. I broke it off and the noise went away. I then drove up to SMP near inspection. I then noticed that there was chunk of ice caught on my drive shaft. I broke it off and the noise went away. I then drove up to SMP near the end of their work day to notify them if i should still bring it in. Mike in service was very helpful,but Brent the manager decided to take the vehicle and put it up on the lift himself for a thorough inspection and notified me to come into the shop and look for myself. There was no damage but just a little paint scraped off which he touched up.He told me to cancel the next day appointment,then topped off my windshield fluid and wished me a Merry Xmas.. They could of went on their way home,but Brent decided to take a good look at the undercarriage and drive shaft right away.Top notch service and Kudos to Mike,Nemo and especially Brent The manager for doing all this at the end of their work day.
