They were very persistent about their set prices (which was not usual my experience buying cars in the past). Anyway, when we came to pick up our car, and we were helped by another employee. I specifically asked if they would renew my plates, since they were coming up for renewal in January. My husband and I were told that all of that would be taken care of for us. Well today, I was slapped with the naive stick. We were pulled over because our sticker had expired. Thank goodness we only received a warning but now I have to drive around for two more days until we find time to get the sticker. Thank you Saab of KW for this very rough experience. You have taught us to purchase elsewhere in the future. Shout out to the finance lady - she is the only one who did a fantastic job!! More
Outstanding Service, Reliability, Honesty and Pricing When the owner of our previous auto repair place retired the new ownership head said our Toyota Camry wagon vehicle needed about $4500 worth of repair When the owner of our previous auto repair place retired the new ownership head said our Toyota Camry wagon vehicle needed about $4500 worth of repairs. Our next door neighbour, who was a former design engineer at Honda in Japan, carefully looked over the quote and our vehicle with a fine toothed comb and said "Don't ever go there again". We then decided to buy a very recent used Suzuki SX4 from Suzuki Saab of KW. We found their service, prices and particularly their commitment to top notch service to be outstanding. Deb Jones , Customer Liaison, treated us like family and kept surprising us with very reasonable fees. When leaving our car for service, we would get a ride home. On one occasion, an apprentice mechanic who had worked at many garages said that this was the first place he had ever been where they never cut corners on the service and had an outstanding commitment to quality of their work. Do not buy from this DEALERSHIP.. I was in the market for a used 4x4 SUV, I came across one online that was located at Saab of KW, I drove 2hrs on a Saturday to check out this posted I was in the market for a used 4x4 SUV, I came across one online that was located at Saab of KW, I drove 2hrs on a Saturday to check out this posted vehicle, I took it for a test drive and decided it was the one for me. I signed the papers and was told it would be ready Wednesday after the safety and e-test. Wednesday I get a call saying that it won't be ready till Saturday which was ok, but Saturday came and guess what it wasn't ready. All I kept getting told was that they need to wait on a part, so finally the next Saturday I was told it was going to be ready, After driving 2hrs again I finally picked up my vehicle but upon driving out of the dealership the ABS light and parking brake light came on. I took the vehicle back and told them what the problem was, sales person(Christian) took vehicle for a drive just to see if problem really did exist (it did) he then went in and talked to manager (Jeff) after a few minutes he returned with some other person with a code reader after a few minutes he asked to take it for a test drive he returned played with code reader some more they went inside again came back with a solution which was I could take the vehicle with me (they did guarantee that it was safe to drive) and bring it back at a later date for them to fix or leave it with them and have fix it and pick it up when it was done. I picked the first option upon arriving home I made an appointment for Monday with my personal mechanic to check out issue he hooked up his code reader and problem was discovered to be ABS module was not working. I called dealership and told them what I had discovered and what I was told was yeah we assumed it was that and already have the part here(odd since they said code reader was not working) I was fed up with them at this point and didn't trust them I asked if they would send the part to my mechanic ( I was willing to pay his labor charges just so I didn't have to deal with dealership again) they agreed to do this I sent them my mechanic's address and waited for part to be delivered. After a few days go by I call my mechanic to see if part has arrive it hasn't call back to dealer they say part has been sent so I wait then I get a notice in the mail that I have a package needing picking up at post office wonder what it could be I go pick it up and yep you guessed it it was my part which was to go to my mechanic's shop not my home address. I take the part to mechanic he tells me it is a used part so he hopes it works it does, but why try and con me out of a new part? I believe this dealership was negligent in the fact that they advertised a vehicle for sale (safety and e-tested) without first doing the safety and being aware of the issues before hand and warning the buyer of said problems and the amount of time that was required to fix problem. I also paid extra$300 for them to clean and buff out some minor dents/scratches they said they did this but there was no evidence of this being done as the dents and scratches are still there and I was picking up candy wrappers/gum from under back seat. I put on high KLM's and needed good fuel economy. I had a particular vehicle in mind, and after discussing my needs, Ron K. suggested that I look at a vehicle that I had not concidered. He was bang on with my purchase and I have recently purchased another identical vehicle moving up in years and less mileage. I have found the customer service and attention to the customer's needs rather than the quick sale very inspiring. Saab of KW really looks after their customers beyond the sale. They are approachable and are willing to make the dealership experince as easy as possible, unlike the many I have delt with in the past. They respect your time and questions you may have. They also give you the best market price they can on your purchase and trade. I would highly recomend Saab of KW for any vehicle you want to purchase. More
