"Refundable" deposits are not refundable I found a vehicle I was initially interested in and thought I wanted and was encouraged to put a deposit on it to hold it, which, I was told was "refu I found a vehicle I was initially interested in and thought I wanted and was encouraged to put a deposit on it to hold it, which, I was told was "refundable" and the sale was "conditional" on financing as I wanted to shop some rates myself and see what was out there. I changed my mind about the vehicle and not overly enthused about the interest rate I found or the one they found for me, which combined to make me just want to stop the process. I called to cancel and discovered they had no intention of refunding the $1,000 I put down.I could not change my mind. No proposal to even split the difference. So, beware that "refundable" and "conditional" may not mean what you think they mean. Here is what I learned in talking with family and other dealerships: When you pick a vehicle, be sure to write on your agreement "conditional upon final confirmation". That way, if you, for any reason, change your mind prior to your final declaration of "okay to deliver", you should be covered if you change your mind. My advice? Deal with people who aren't out to trick you on technicalities. More

Warranty was still 5 months under and they went on to tell us it was over the warranty by one month and they wouldn’t help at all. Made multiple calls to the service manager Paul who wouldn’t call back and screen my calls. They don’t want to help with anything and would do anything to not help their customers out. We’ve bought three Nissan’s from them and never will again nor will i suggest to anyone buyin from them now. We are now stuck paying $6000 to fix a transmission on a car that doesn’t even have 100,000 km More

Met Kim who showed me the vehicle and did test ride. I expressed my interest after a ride and discussed preliminary pricing and other stuff and told Kim very clearly that I liked the vehicle and I would like to come back with my family tomorrow so that we can finalize the transaction.Left the showroom at 12.30 PM today I went back and consulted my insurance guy to check what premium i would get on this vehicle, spoke to my wife and called back at around 3.30 PM to request for VIN no which my insurance guy wanted to determine exact premium i would get after buying the vehicle . I was indifferently told that the vehicle is no longer available . I was surprised and somewhat taken a back. I asked Kim why he did not tell me that the vehicle is about to go and I should look at another vehicle. So here I get another standard punchline answer " We have no control over how dealership decides to sell the vehicle and customer just walked in and picked up the vehicle". I have not seen this in my life....most of the capital expenses are well thought and planned. In the same breath he tried sell me another vehicle without an adequate explanation and I told him that for Pre Owned Vehicle Test Drive is important for me and I have to now visit the show room again to get that done . However another reply really shut me off " I can give you all the information over the phone" I mean how can I get a test drive over a phone on another vehicle. During my test ride I had told kim that I stay at SE so going at Royal Oaks again is a big thing, however there was no understanding what a customer goes through. I was really impressed with Kim during my test drive and had decided to finalize the vehicle. They were not hard selling in my interaction. However looking back I was dealing with just another heartless sales person and not a professional. Probably the Vehicle was already up and they were just waiting for the customer to come up and pay meanwhile hooking another one in case they miss. I wasted my time I strongly would not recommend Royal Oak Nissan to anyone. More

Great sales! I absolutely hate dealing with salesmen. Loath them with a passion. I'd gone to several different dealerships in the city looking to buy a Qashqai - o I absolutely hate dealing with salesmen. Loath them with a passion. I'd gone to several different dealerships in the city looking to buy a Qashqai - or something similar, and got hit with all the typical hard sale tactics. As such, not a single one of these places came even close to making a sale. After talking to a coworker who used to be a new car salesman, he told me what to look for. Omar was the first person we talked to at Royal Oak and right from the word go, without even trying to test him, he answered many of the questions I had planned on asking, and gave the answers I was looking for. No BS, no hard sales, everything was upfront and open. I was very impressed with the way Omar handled the sale from the beginning to the end, and he was quick to answer any questions my wife and I had. I can and will highly recommend Omar to anyone who is looking to purchase, and the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Unlike numerous other companies I could mention. And of course my wife and I love our new Qashqai. More

Scott in the Finance Department was great about answering all of my questions, making recommendations and getting back to me even earlier than promised. Complimentary pick-up and delivery made it even easier to go back and forth to the dealership (especially since it always seemed to be raining). Wish I was buying a car every week just to experience this wonderful team again. PS: Steven (from service) and the Inventory Manager (sorry I forgot his name) were also great about helping me along the way as well. Thank guys!!! More

Our salesman, Evan, was very helpful and courteous and that extended all the way to the finance and sales managers through to delivery by Emily. altogether a very pleasant experience. Thank you. More
