The sales advisor helped me with the car, was really helpful and on top of the job, and he ended up answering all the questions I had in my head and clear the doubts of the car that I had my eyes on. They clearly mislead people in order to get them to go to their dealership. Untrustworthy bunch of salesmen. More
Genuinely the nicest bunch of guys Ii have been to many dealerships and in general the salesman is always 'nice' (he wants me to buy a car so of course he would right?) However these gu Ii have been to many dealerships and in general the salesman is always 'nice' (he wants me to buy a car so of course he would right?) However these guys are genuinely some of the nicest people I have met. There was no pressure at any stage and even after the sale when I had to go back they all couldn't do enough for me. Slow & Bad customer service Service is extremely slow, and their customer resolution and loyalty is far from par. It seems that this dealership focuses more on short term profits Service is extremely slow, and their customer resolution and loyalty is far from par. It seems that this dealership focuses more on short term profits than customer satisfaction. Aftet falsifying a price over the phone too later change that price (for key replacement) and than the 2 day wait for the replacement to be done. I must say worst experience ever! More

Great follow up on Used vehicle sales, No presure I did my first contact via a Kijiji listing. Called the dealership and was directed to a sales rep (Larry). Larry made a convenient appointment time for me to come in (same morning) and inspect and test drive a used Sprinter Van. The price was competitive compared to what else I had researched. When I arrived I was not kept waiting long. Larry took me to the vehicle and gave me lots of time to inspect it inside, outside, and underside. Never once did he rush or pressure me. Came back for a test drive the next day, with the intention of finalizing the purchase. I had a conflict at my company which prevented me from purchasing the vehicle that day, but Larry made the entire process a friendly and convenient transaction. After I left, he followed up with a few phone calls, but did not harass me. When the vehicle was sold, he even followed up with me, knowing that my circumstances had changed. I would highly recommend dealing with Larry at Roy Foss in Woodbridge. Very pleasant experience, even though we never finalized the purchase. More
Took ownership and helped resolve a bad situation I got my car in July of last year. I called in and talked about prices with Aldo. He was friendly and encouraged me to come in for a test drive. I did I got my car in July of last year. I called in and talked about prices with Aldo. He was friendly and encouraged me to come in for a test drive. I did. During the test drive, I noticed a rattling sound coming from the car. I brought this to Aldo's attention, but he dismissed it. I was a first time buyer... I didn't know about cars, and I didn't have anyone to take with me for the test drive. I just hoped that the dealership would be honest... how naive. Anyway, I bought the car the same day of the test drive and got a pick-up date. The car wasn't ready on that day and I had to pick it up the next day. The car still wasn't ready. I was asked to come in on a later day, but that weekend was a long weekend. Eventually, things got arranged and my car was ready. After leaving the dealership, I noticed business cards and change in the glove box. Aldo had told me during the test drive that he was currently driving the car. I guess they didn't think to clean it out before I picked it up. Also, I was charge over $40 for them to fill up my car with gas. I picked up the car with an almost empty tank. When I called Aldo to inform him of this, he asked that I come back to the dealership to get my car cleaned, at which point I will be given a gas card. It's been almost a year... that still hasn't happened. Anyway, the sound I mentioned earlier continued. I thought maybe that was what a turbo engine sounded like... Again, I was a new driver (I got my license 2 weeks before buying a car), and didn't know about cars. After driving the car for a 1-2 months, and after hearing comments like "that is not normal" and "you need to get that checked" from all my friends, I took it back to Roy Foss Wodobridge. The service guy told me that he couldn't hear anything and he didn't want to have to have his boys look at it because if he can't hear anything, "they wouldn't know where to look" and "it will be difficult to diagnose the issue". I left. After driving the car for about 1 more month, I narrowed down the timing of the sound. I figured that the noise started only when I hit 2000RPM. I had moved at that point and was closer to Roy Foss Thornhill. So I took my car in, and they fixed it. The rattling sound was because my fan was vibrating and hitting something else (only at 2000RPM). They insulated it and it was fine. My problem with this was that my warranty had expired at this point. (It was a preowned vehicle - 17000km - and was still under manufacturer warranty when I got it). This meant that I had to pay to fix an issue that was clearly a problem when i test-drove the car. I was deceived because if Aldo was using the car like he mentioned to me during the test drive, there is NO WAY he didn't hear that sound. It was loud! Today I am having more trouble with another sound coming from the car. A stranger had to stop me to tell me that I had to get my car checked. This just reminded me of all the crazy I have been through with Roy Foss Woodbridge. Will I ever do business with them again? xxxx no. Should you do business with them? Probably not. It may be Aldo or it may be the dealership, but I think it is cruel to pressure someone into buying a vehicle that you know it faulty. That is what Aldo did to me. He knew that cars we definitely not my forte, and he took advantage of that. ----------------------- The dealership worked hard to fix what seemed to be a one-off occurence More

Two surprises I requested a quote for a new Chevrolet Malibu LS vehicle via the GM.ca website and received prompt responses from Roy Foss Woodbridge. Although its I requested a quote for a new Chevrolet Malibu LS vehicle via the GM.ca website and received prompt responses from Roy Foss Woodbridge. Although its quote is a couple of hundred dollars more than the lowest, I decided to go there on Oct. 8 to have a test drive because it is close to my workplace, and more importantly, I found its 'Excellent', '100% Recommended' and '4.9' customer rating here. I have no doubt about other people's great experience, but my personal experience at Roy Foss Woodbridge is not very pleasant. The test drive part was fine, but I then got two surprises when we proceeded to the price part: First, when I sent out the quote request via the GM.ca, I explicitly requested to include a supplier discount in the quote if it is applicable. The first email response from Roy Foss Woodbridge clearly confirmed that 'You are eligible for PREFERRED PRICING. This pricing program allows you to purchase at DEALER COST.' and in its quote it also stated that 'I have the final pricing for you, tax included. This is based on a White Chevrolet Malibu LS , and your preffered pricing discount.' However, after the salesman talked with his manager to see whether there is any possibility to get a slightly better price, he came back with the first surprise that the Malibu LS is not qualified for preferred pricing, and without that discount the price would be much higher. Secondly, since the salesman told me that the 1LT which I just drove is qualified for preferred pricing discount, I asked him to give me a new quote for the 1LT, whose total cash purchase price is about 1400 higher than the LS per GM.ca. However, after the salesman talked with his manager again, he came back with another surprise, a price that is more than 4000 dollars higher than the previous quote for the LS. Only after I questioned how the $4000 difference was calculated, they recognized that they made a mistake in their calculation. The salesman then gave me another quote for the 1LT, but I decided not to move forward due to the above described surprises. P.S. Roy Foss Woodbridge staff later followed up with me via phone and email, sincerely apologized for the mistakes they made, and were willing to offer me an additional discount towards my purchase. Because of their following up and apology, I feel it's reasonable to give Roy Foss Woodbridge an 'Average' rating and still recommend it to other customers though myself already made a purchase at other dealership. And I also feel it's imperative to share my true story here. More
