Excellent Buying Experience Started shopping for a mid-sized pick up truck 6+ months ago and had visited several GMC, Chevy and Toyota dealers in the process. Eventually ended u Started shopping for a mid-sized pick up truck 6+ months ago and had visited several GMC, Chevy and Toyota dealers in the process. Eventually ended up at Ron Hodgson as they were recommend by Car Cost Canada and can understand why. Our buying experience was terrific. Our sales person Craig Chorzempa was awesome. His knowledge about the vehicle was considerable and the information he provided was factual; unlike other dealerships we visited where the sales staff frequently needed to go find a brochure to answer our questions. Anytime we visited the dealership Craig knew exactly who we were and we did not need to re-introduce ourselves or refresh his memory about what vehicle we were interested in. We ended up ordering a vehicle (2016 GMC Canyon) to get exactly what we wanted and Craig was tremendous. He was very upfront about how long our order would take and what the process would entail. Craig was always great about answering our multitude of questions while we worked through the process and waited for the vehicle to arrive. He was happy to communicate by email, phone or in person; very accommodating to our needs and schedule. In addition to Craig, we also interacted with Chris Evans in Parts & Accessories and Ludwig Ernst in Finance. We had a very similar experience with both. Chris was great about helping us capture the right accessories and again was tremendous at communicating. Ditto for Ludwig in finance. He took the time to explain all our finance options and worked with us to make sure we were happy with our eventual cost and payment plan. The Ron Hodgson Dealership staff truly went out of there way to make us feel like our business was important to them. Terrific customer service and buying experience. Will definitely consider buying another vehicle from them and recommending them to family and friends. More

Making a stressful situation, as stress free as possible Without encouraging you to pull out the kleenex box before continuing, I will do my best to summarize our Ron Hodgeson Experience. Our main vehicle wa Without encouraging you to pull out the kleenex box before continuing, I will do my best to summarize our Ron Hodgeson Experience. Our main vehicle was a 2002 Grande Caravan. When it would no longer run, and was no longer worth the money to repair, a huge decision had to be made. Buy new - or used. Buy new (yet we could absolutely NOT afford a monthly payment) or buy used, and possibly take on someone else's problem - with no money to repair should it break down. The tears flowed for days as the sole responsibility of purchasing a vehicle depended on me. You see, my husband has MS and it is progressing quickly. Buy a car, a van, an SUV - can he get in and out of it, can we fit in his walker. My husband is a big man. As and AISH household, the limited income made the decision seem impossible. However, once we made the decision to go used, we decided to go through a dealership. That way we were confident the vehicle would have been properly inspected prior to our purchase. It was an automatic assumption that we would buy the same vehicle we had owned for 13 years- only newer. Off to our local Dodge dealership we went. To say the service was substandard would be a generous comment. We left there with a sour taste in our mouth and drove down the road to the next dealership. Ron Hodgeson. We spoke to a sales person in the used vehicle area. I was very specific. "THIS" is my max $. I want command start as I don't park in a garage - that wasn't an option. It HAD to be reliable - I don't have money to pay for repairs and I don't have money to buy an extra warranty, AND I don't have money to buy new. Dean was amazing. EVERY TIME I went there, I left in tears. Dean listened as I battled with making a decision to purchase what for some was so small, but for me felt like it was the biggest decision of my life. I had to make a decision about refinancing our mortgage to purchase a vehicle as we really could not afford another payment. I needed to be able to get my husband to his many Dr appointments. My husband needed to be able to get in and out of the vehicle with legs that don't work too well. As I walked from car to car so stressed, Dean was kind and patient. As I called over, and over, and over again, Dean was so patient. Every call was returned, every question was answered. And when finally the decision was made and the vehicle was purchased, I knew I had made the right choice. I am sure many sales people would have dodged my calls and lost their patience with me as I battled daily (for weeks) about handing over a cheque. But Dean's patience and understanding made me feel like I was important as a person - not just as a potential buyer. And that I had to be comfortable with my decision more than he needed to make a sale. Dean, and the Ron Hodgeson staff, THANK YOU! You by far gave us the best customer service I could have asked for.
