Dealership tried to scam me $1,700 AC quit on car, was told after a test that the compressor was gone and needed replacement. Quoted at $1,700 parts and labour. Took it to a small AC/Electronics garage and was told the compressor is perfectly fine, a plug was ripped apart and rewiring it would cost $95.
