Thank you for responding to my review. I understand there are always two sides to a story but after years of having multiple vehicles serviced at your location I am now questioning all of the advice I had received in the past. You see, the car I currently have I purchased because my last vehicle had issues and I was told it would be $3,000-$4,000 to fix the problem and even then there was no guarantee the problem would be solved. This was the same tech who quoted me on the current repairs. I was also told by your service tech that the engine leaks on my car would be $4,000 to fix and that things are going to get worse if it's not fixed now. Again I thought I had to look at the possibility of buying yet another vehicle. Thankfully every other service center, and even one of your own techs, told me not to worry about it and to simply switch to a thicker oil. After what happened with the AC unit I am curious if my $10,000 investment into a new car was actually justified. Luckily I still have my old car in storage so I can have a second opinion on it in the near future. I understand that you have a business to run and that sales are slow in this economy so the revenue must be generated elsewhere. However, I feel like your service department is acting as if it were a body shop and that all damage is covered by insurance so we might as well just replace instead of repair. I am a recent university grad and thus do not have a lot of disposable income. The prospect of the $1,700 AC and $4,000 leak repairs caused me a great deal of stress as I tried to find a way to cover the costs. I took my car to AutoTemp, off Argyll, explained the situation to them and after 20 minutes they came to me and told me never to return to your dealership again cause the fix was extremely minor and any mechanic would know that. I told them about the $1,700, they could have come out and told me they could do it for $1,500 and I would've gladly paid but instead they told me the truth and won me as a customer for life. I've now directed our fleet manager to have any electrical or AC issues with our trucks dealt with by this garage. I can't see myself or anyone in my family returning to your dealership in the future. If you still wish to contact me you're more than welcome to. 780-700-0029
