Allan, Ian contacted me and apologized. As to the rude behaviour I was willing to overlook it as a bad day on behalf of your staff member, and accept the apology. I agreed to give it another chance after Ian said that is not the normal way warranty work to diagnose something as simple as a door rattle should be (and he even had an idea what it might be), and he told me to re-book it and they would look at it right away and it should not take more than 45 min or so to figure out what is wrong (seen as he had an idea what might be rattling). However when I phoned to book it in I was told by the lady taking me booking that they book in 4 vehicles every 15 min when we were looking at a time. I asked her to confirm if someone would look at it at the time I booked it in then if they were booking 4 every 15 min, and I was told "no, it will get looked at that day". I asked her to have Ian contact me as there was still some confusion. She said she would text him right away to contact me. That was 2 weeks ago. So sorry, but my opinion after spending over $90,000 and expecting a vehicle free of rattles and simply wanting to bring it by at an agreed upon time to have tithe issue diagnosed or resolved has not changed. That opinion is not a positive one. An opinion I am sharing with anyone my wife and I know who is looking for a new vehicle.

Allan, it is Clint Crittenden (780-260-1919). I appreciate your willingness to address this issue, however after over 3 weeks (and 2 weeks of waiting for a call back from Ian after being promised that I would be taken care of even if he had to come pick up the vehicle at my home himself) I am frankly not inclined to give this dealer/client relationship another chance. I had a very pleasant experience with my salesman, and a not so pleasant one with his manager (which still leaves me with a unresolved question that I have frankly given up ever getting a response to a solution to resolve that issue I have now resigned to live with). I also really appreciated the attention paid to my kids from the owner's wife and the rest of the staff while making the purchase (it was probably the most pleasant experience buying a new vehicle I have ever had, aside from the experience with the sales manager). The effort taken to have someone from your dealership go pick up my Yukon Denali XL in Calgary so I could have it by the weekend was above and beyond. This overall experience left me satisfied at the time I had made the right decision in choosing your dealership. Since then, between the non-response to a solution to remedy an entertainment option (which was not as described by the sales manager, however I was willing to pay to resolve as I did not do my own homework on the configuration offered, but have subsequently given up on resolving and will live with the choice as is) and simply wanting to come in to have a rattle looked at has left me with a bad taste in mouth over the follow up to the sale to ensure I am happy with my purchase to the point I would do it again (or recommend the experience to my friends and family). Thanks Allan, I really appreciate the gesture. I was not asking for special treatment and do appreciate you personally trying to resolve this. As to the rattle issue, after another couple weeks since the first door rattle appeared, others are creeping up now as well (although not as persistent and only over bumps or on some uneven roads). I think the suspension is possibly too stiff (is the magnetic ride adjustable?) and causing things to slowly work themselves loose into more persistent creaks and rattles. Not sure what can be done about that, but fixing whatever is loose in the door panel might be the symptom, and not the root cause. We really like everything else about the vehicle (other than the entertainment system issue I never heard back on) and the ride while always stiff has not been unbearable until the rattles have started to show up. If you wanted to come by sometime this week and pick it up and go for a quick drive with me so we are on the same page that would be outstanding and go a long ways to get back to how satisfied I was after the original purchase. I fixed the review to reflect the overall service I received in the end, and accept that it was 99% a misunderstanding exacerbated by poor communication and not indicative of the normal level of service one can from Ron Hodgson.
